Well planned tour - Having the audio guide made a big difference because it explained the history of the cathedral, Brunelleschi’s dome, and the artwork step by step while I explored at my own pace. It felt calm and well-organized, even though it was busy. I could stop, look closely at the details, and then continue the guide when I was ready. A really nice way to enjoy the cathedral without feeling rushed or lost.

Disorganised start but happy ending - At the meeting point we were told to scan a QR code that gave us access to the audioguide through our phone. No real audio guide with a headset was given. Our original guide left us to another group without telling us what was happening. We ended up joining another tour with Giulio Vitali. He was very nice, helpful, enthusiastic and understanding. He was being very mindful of who didn't have the headset with them. The rest of his group had a headset on exept the few that were left there in the confusion. He kept anyone without a headset close to him so that we could all hear him properly. At the end of the tour he gave us extra information about the dome and the artists that worked on it. What we found nice about him was his happy character and the fact that he is local and has been doing this for many years. Professional and mindful. Despite the beginning of this tour, it was much better to have a local guide with us. We later checked the audioguide on the phone. It was an automated voice describing things, which did not compare to what we did get in the end with Giulio (which was obviously much better).

A nice adventure - The audio guide was clear and simple. It felt like having a small tour in my ear while I enjoyed the cathedral ⛪️.The Duomo is so beautiful. The audio guide explained things in easy words, so I understood more about what I was seeing.

An amazing adventure - Amazing experience! The Duomo is stunning from the outside, but going inside with the audio guide made it even more special. I learned about the history and architecture while walking around at my own pace. Totally worth it!

Timed entry is just a spot in line - The timed entry was just a spot in line. Waited over an hour in line. Once inside it was quick. The tour guide was funny and informative.

Rubbish - Absolutely useless! Wasted 2 lots of money on 2 lots of tickets. You think you are purchasing a ticket, then you need to download it which is impossible in an overcrowded City Centre! You queue up outside your venue and then you are told no you can’t go in, you have to redeem it at a local newsagent or coffee shop! Don’t bother chaps!

Awful - Do NOT book , when we arrived , way too many had been signed up, we did not receive the earphones , so basically , we paid to stand in a line and move slowly onto the cathedral , which you can do for free ! I complained , asked for a refund and got nothing - hence the terrible review ( which I’ve never done before) . Shocking service .

Ghosted - There was no one at the meeting point, we waited for their next one of 13 hours and we met another guide who told us that it was not the agency in question that he accompanied. So we waited at the bar that was in front of the number one and we never saw a Guide With the agency we had taken us. Too bad after paying we decided to do the free tour. But for the storyless thing. My wife was disappointed.
