• Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore - The iconic symbol of Florence is the grand and majestic Duomo, known as Santa Maria del Fiore. Designed by Brunelleschi six centuries ago, it remains the third largest cathedral in the world! The exterior colors and facade reflect Florence’s local traditions, embodying the medieval rivalry with Siena. A guided tour provides insight into the full history of the facade and the stunning frescoed ceiling inside.
• Crypt of Santa Reparata - Santa Reparata was an ancient church in Florence, situated beneath the current Florence Cathedral, the Duomo. It served as the city’s cathedral until the 14th century when it was replaced by the current structure. Visitors can explore its remains, offering a unique view into early Christian architecture and the rich historical layers of Florence.
• Battistero di San Giovanni - Adorned with white Carrara and green Prato marble, it is one of Florence’s oldest churches and gracefully defines the square of the city Cathedral. • Please remember to bring all of your IDs. A double check will be done by the Duomo’s staff. If names on tickets and those on the IDs won’t match, access will not be allowed
• Appropriate clothing is highly recommended. Please be aware that access to holy sites requires a strict dress code. Shoulders and knees have to be properly covered.
• Visitors accessing the monuments, before entering, must MANDATORY leave inside the Luggage Storage suitcases, backpacks, parcels, containers large and medium-sized bags and other types of objects. Visitors who present themselves at the entrance with objects prohibited by the regulation will not be able to enter
• Visitors are required to climb 463 steps ( if Dome option selected). No lifts (elevators) are available.
• The climb is not recommended for people suffering from heart problems, vertigo, claustrophobia and for pregnant women
• To ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests, every reservation that includes minors (under 18) must be accompanied by at least one adult. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept bookings made exclusively by unaccompanied minors.
