The path offers a descent through charming cypress tree woods, past the Castello Di Vincigliata castle, and into Settignano village. There, seize the opportunity to stop at a charming local eatery offering delicious homemade Italian cuisine.
The journey continues from Settignano to the PoggioPiano vineyard. There, meet the Galardi family, proprietors of an organic Chianti Vineyard and olive plantation near Al Girone. Here, unwind at the estate with an inviting glass of their onsite-produced Chianti wines, complemented by an assortment of Tuscan cheeses, meats, and bread topped with their homegrown extra virgin olive oils.
Finally, the route guides you along dedicated bike lanes crossing the River Arno back to Florence. The final stretch leads to Piazzale Michelangelo for a breathtaking view of Florence from this renowned vantage point. After soaking up the view, return the bikes to round off this enchanting e-bike adventure.

Florence E-Bike tour was outstanding. - Great experience and a must do in Florence. The owner was awesome and I would highly recommend this tour if you love riding bikes!

Excellent adventure out of the city! - My husband and I and our 2 teenagers loved this ride. It was beautiful and a great opportunity to get out of the city to do something different. We stopped in Fiensole and grabbed lunch to enjoy the view. The second stretch from Fiensole to the winery was very long - we were ready to enjoy some wine once we arrived, and lots of water to cool down. We were there during a major heatwave (temp 98 degrees). The last stop at Piazzale Michelangelo was also very pretty. Overall, it took us about 6.5 hours but was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable experience... - Unbelievable experience and great way to see parts of Florence and Fiesole. There are a few viewpoints that are definitely picture worthy. The vineyard was a great touch! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Thanks for the great day - We stayed 5 days in Firenza but this was the of most enjoyable day. We wanted to rent an e-bike to discover the backlands around Firenza but had no cleu how to get around. And then we found this shop of John. He is so enthousiastic and proud of his shop, shows real attention and dedication and his Giro was just exactly what we where looking for. A great ride avoiding traffic and using the bikelanes in and around the city. But also the most beautifull climbs and great downhills, calm forests and smoothly cruizing along the Arno. Somewhere along the road we where overhault by John (Spielberg) on his bike with a 360 cam haha. We have a copy of that movie. An Amazing ride and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to get out of the tourist traps and long tictok lines for the ice-cappuchino's.
As an older couple (60s) we had a wrong turn (my bad) and drove 60km that day but the batteries where still good to climb to the Belvedere Piazzale Michelangelo.
And we made it in time to return the gear at Johns place.

Great experience - A great experience on good bikes in the mountains outside Florence. Our Scottish landlord was both nice, funny and informative. It was easy to follow the route on GPS in the phone and there were tremendously many stops but amazing views along the way. A little tough cycling at times for us 50-plus with doubtful condition but it went very well as a whole. Try the wine tasting at the vineyard!

Super craic cycle! - One of the best things we did in Florence.
John has planned a great, off the beaten track tour that incorporates everything you want to do as a tourist - minus the groups and the traps. Places to stop to have lunch, coffee, beautiful views, a vineyard - absolute dream.
The tour itself was planned meticulously and had plenty of gems along the way and the briefing at the start was so informative.
John himself was such a lovely guy and went out of his way to provide you with the best possible experience. We had great craic with him before and after and he even suggested a few of his local favourites for dinner and drinks and ice cream.
Not even mentioning the value for money which was unbelievable!
100% make sure you do this on your trip to Florence - all the best John!

“Tuscany by E-Bike: A Must-Do with John!” - ⸻
We had an amazing experience with John’s e-bike tour through the Tuscan countryside! The rolling hills, the stunning views of Florence, and the charm of the hilltop villages made for an unforgettable day. John’s attention to detail and local knowledge shine through—especially in the design of his custom tour app, which made the ride seamless and stress-free. The route was well thought out, offering just the right mix of adventure and relaxation (with some excellent wine stops along the way!). Highly recommend John and this tour—an absolute highlight of our trip to Tuscany! 🌄🚴♀️🍷

E-Bike, self guided tour Florence and beyond! - We had a fabulous day on the bikes.
A decent distance for a bike ride covering different terrains with lovely stops incorporated that you can decide whether to take advantage of or not
The bikes are good quality with a decent battery to make sure you don’t run out of juice and can still enjoy the ride. A panier to stuff your things in so no need to lug around a rucksack. John (the owner) met us and was both very friendly, cheerful and informative at pick up with a briefing before you leave the shop! I would highly recommend this tour (maybe not for those that haven’t ridden a bike for 20 yrs or so though!)

Amazing tour with an amazing guide - The tour was fantastic and the guy owning the place was really good in explaining all the details about the tour and how to use the bikes etc. The tour in itself were great and we had a wonderful day. The bikes were really easy to use and it was an unforgettable experience to do this.. the owner was also fantastic as I left my sunglass cover in the bike and the day after he met me at the station in Florence and deliver it in person. I tried to pay him for this, but he refused to take my money. So he did this all just to make sure that I got my sunglass cover back. I can really recommend this tour. Kind regards, MARIA.
