Super fab Tuscan - We had a superb evening, hosted by Marco. The information given about the wines was interesting to a lay person like myself. A new got of good food, wine and conversation. Great value for money.

Really had a good time! - The class was a lot of fun, all the classmates we're into it, and Marco kept us on task. It was very informative and interactive, the pasta, ravioli, and tiramisu we're all very good. It was a blast.

Such a great experience!! - I'm in it solo and really wanted to try a wine tasting. Most of the experiences I saw were to the Tuscan vineyards. I wanted to do one but I really didn't want to commit to 5-12 hour trips. This caffe was about a 10 minute walk from where I was staying so I was excited. When I got there I discovered it was me and two other wonderful young ladies. We were going to try 4 wines for the night. Our instructor was so personal and kind. We started with meats and cheeses, then our second course was the most amazing piece of lasagna I've had in my entire life. He said the beef from the lasagna is soaked in the wine overnight and it's so beautiful. I liked the intimate group. It gave me an opportunity to meet new people on my adventure

Small Group and very friendly sommelier. - We had the pleasure of attending the Florence Wine Tasting at Tino Cafe. The place is very near the main train station in Florence. We had an easy walk from our hotel. They had us set up in the back of the cafe but not in a separate room so you could still see the coming and going of other customers. We were in a group with two other couples (six people total) which included another couple from the US and a couple from Ireland. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable about Chianti and the Super Tuscan wines from the area. The tasting consisted of three different Chianti from the same vineyard, all different ages and then a very bold Super Tuscan wine. The food included bread with a fine olive oil, meat and cheese tray and a very nice Lasagna made with meat marinated in Chianti and a bechamel sauce instead of the typical tomato based sauce. The end of the meal included a sweet dessert wine with biscotti to dip in the wine! At the beginning of the evening, the format was very informational, but towards the middle of the evening, the sommelier left us more to our own devices and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening with our new Chianti friends. Overall it was a very pleasant way to spend the evening and I feel like I know a bit more about the local wines and customs. I would highly recommend for singles or couples as the group atmosphere would accommodate both.

Wine Tasting Dinner - This experience far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was quaint, yet modern. Our sommelier, Marco, was outstanding. He had a great sense of humor and was filled with local knowledge to help make this an unique learning experience. The food was outstanding too! We would definitely recommend this experience to others.

Excellent wine and food! - Great relaxing evening. Tasted 5 different wines with appetizers, lasagne and dessert. The host explained the wine tastes, regions and who can call themselves a true chianti. There was just one other couple with us but that made it better as we could talk to each other and to the host. And just to let you know, the lasagne is excellent! Price is also great. Sign up if you like wine and relaxation. You won’t regret it.

Wow - We got way more food than I anticipated. It was amazing too. I would have had to pay $200 for that type of meal in the US.

Fantastic Dinner - A great evening, strongly recommended. Only three of us signed up so a small group but a very intimate and enjoyable meal and wine tasting. More food and wine than we could possibly eat and drink but both were outstanding. Not rushed, very relaxing after a long day of touring. I learned a lot about chianti as well. For the price you cannot get a better meal and wine.

Great Food, Limited wine selections - While the food was great; salumi and lasagna, I really felt like theses guys were pushing the sale of their private label wines. We had a lot of fun with the other couple there, but I would not recommend this.
