Wonderful time in Florence with family. - My wife and I were travelling with our son and we had a great experience. Our lead guide Annalisa was excellent. She guided us from one activity to the next seamlessly. She was a big help in suggesting the area and activities to see during our free time. Our tour guide for the street and gallery tours was also very good. The gallery portion with our guide was only an hour and was spent talking about the more popular paintings. Afterwards you could explore the many rooms on your own. The high speed train only takes around 90 minutes so most of your day is spent walking in the city. Bring comfortable shoes. Lots of places to visit. Florence is beautiful, even in March.

Great way to see the city of Florence - Annalisa was very helpful and went out of here way to make sure everyone had a good experience. The guides were knowledgeable and were respectful of our time one day is not enough to see all of Florence but if it is all you have this is the way to see it. The guides gave recommendations on what to do with our free time and helped me get tickets to another museum.

Great, fast, comfortable and reasonably priced! - The trip Rome to Florence was fantastic! And not easy! At Termini station in Rome you go to an ITALO train ticket office and buy the ticket (in our case, 4 passengers were 199€) and arrive at S station. M. Novella faith Florence after 1h36' travel! Fantastic, I could go cheaper... but it will take longer! And Novella is next to everything in Florence, a walk and the hotel to leave suitcases!

Totally looked after! An amazing experience - This trip started at the main train station where our first guide met us and made sure we got on the right train. We were met at the Naples station by our guide for the rest of the day. We were first taken to Pompeii where we were given a small radio so we could hear our guide as she walked us around some of the best bits of Pompeii. She was very knowledgeable and pointed out a lot of things we would have missed. We were then led to a very nice restaurant for local pizza, which was delicious, and then back on the coach to Naples. We had a drive around the area (which was ideal in the heat wave as the coach was airconditioned and comfortable) before stopping in the impressive historic area of Naples where we had a very short wander around (with commentary from our guide) before going to a cafe for a choice of drink and cake. After the cafe we were all put back on the right train and back to Rome. Our guide was fantastic and very mindful of how hot it was; she managed the heat very well for us all. Thank you!

Snapshot of Florence and Museum of Uffizi: if you’re on time constraints this tour is the way to go. Loved it - Our tour guide Jacob, gave clear instructions on meeting points and times and he was always visible with the pink hat on the pole 👍 Jacob also managed to add the Museum of Uffizi for me , and I’m so glad I experienced seeing famous works of art by Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raffaelo. Florence was beautiful and seeing some of the stunning Italian countryside on the way to Florence was great. Loved the whole day

Well organized, fantastic tour and great guide - This is the third time we booked with this Gray Line -I Love Rome after two other tours. This one day Florence tour included round trips with High Speed train. Our guide Mattia was exceptional, very professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful throughout the tour in providing tips on what to see, and where to go. Mattia is friendliness, patience, and willingness to answer any questions we had. Our tour allowed for rest breaks, plenty of visiting time and exploring. We highly recommend this Gray Line - I Love Rome company. Review by Duc & Nhan.

It was a lovely day but a bit long. - It was a nice day and our guide was terrific! It could have been two to three hours shorter. We finished touring by two in the afternoon and had to wait around for three hours.

Family of 8 - Overall our family 8 had a great time and recommend especially if you have never been on the train leaving Rome before. However, I wished I realized that Tour Leader does not mean Tour Guide. Our tour leader was great - but we didn’t know all that means is someone to help you get on and off the trains and did not include a Tour Guide around Florence. I’m sure this was my mistake but nonetheless it was still worth it.

Great self exploring tour! - Very helpful! Good day trip for those who enjoy exploring on your own! Guide helps you on and off the train but the day is up to you! Make sure you book museums and tours ahead of time as that’s not included in this! Overall made the train traveling experience MUCH easier!
