• YO AMO PETEN - This is the third largest lake in Guatemala, home to the Isla de Flores. Before boarding the bus, there will be a 10-minute opportunity to capture memories at the YO AMO PETÉN sign. The tour begins here, passing through quaint towns until reaching the main entrance of Tikal National Park, where tickets for park admission can be purchased.
• Tikal - At the main entrance of Tikal National Park, park rangers will conduct the initial ticket check. This marks the start of the Tikal National Park reservation. Tickets can also be bought online at the Guatemalan government website https://boletos.culturaguate.com/. Two tickets are required for park entry: one costing Q.150.00 per person and the other Q.100.00. Facilities such as restrooms are available here, and the journey continues for another 16 kilometers to the visitor center.
• Tikal Visitor Center - At the Tikal National Park visitor center, there is a scale model of Tikal, restroom facilities, a restaurant, craft shops, and coffee. The guide will allow 15 minutes here before proceeding to ticket control and starting the hike through jungle trails. Along the way, the local guide will provide insights into the flora, fauna, and archaeology until reaching the central square.
• Great Plaza - This area features the Great Jaguar, Temple II, North Acropolis, South Acropolis, Mayan Ball Game, and other significant sites, making it a highlight of the visit.
• Temple IV - Known as the Temple of the Bicephalous Snake, Temple IV requires energy to climb as it is one of the tallest in the National Park. It has stairs for easier ascent and offers an incredible panoramic view, perfect for watching sunrises.
• Tikal Temple V - Tikal Temple V is one of the most impressive restorations, offering a stunning discovery. The tour then proceeds to the Lost World pyramid to enjoy the sunset.
• Lost World - The Lost World pyramid features stairs for easy access and provides an amazing 360-degree view. The local guide will allow time to climb and take photos of the sunset’s panoramic view.
• Tikal Visitor Center - After enjoying the sunset, the tour returns to the visitor center, where the local guide will provide time for restroom use before boarding the transport back to Flores, concluding the activity.
