Beginning at Riverbend Park, the Loxahatchee River excursion initially takes you through a narrow and winding path downstream towards the Atlantic Ocean. The entire journey, back and forth from the park via the river, generally takes around 2 hours subject to the conditions of the water and weather. The route boasts a stunning cypress swamp, patches of sand, and is home to countless species of flora and fauna. Substantial parts of the tour take place under the cool shelter of a picturesque cypress tree canopy.
