So fun! - So fun! We went on a Saturday evening with friends to enjoy the train ride and listen to the live music at the pavilion. They have several large fire pits with Adirondack chairs. Also picnic tables in the pavilion and heaters. You can bring snacks and non alcoholic drinks with you, but you can buy a drink at the bar. Dress in layers, it can get cold.

Relaxing bar in the woods - Great and chill place to spend some time with friends or solo. The whole experience is overpriced, but very relaxing so I would definitely do it again.

Great evening at Glen Blair Bar via the Skunk Train - We've been visiting the Ft. Bragg/Mendocino area for decades but had never ridden the Skunk Train. We went up with a pretty large group of friends and decided to ride the Skunk to the Glen Blair Bar. The ride itself is short, but picturesque. The Glen Blair Bar was very impressive. The structure is beautiful. They had several areas outside and under cover to sit in adirondack chairs circling huge fire pits that were already going when we arrived. Great atmosphere! There were stacks of wood to add to the fires. Giant Jenga was available to play. There was a guy playing live music (so sorry I missed his name!) as he was really great. People dancing and singing along. The bartenders were excellent and quick. This was important as the evening wore on when additional riders would arrive and get in line for drinks. All in all, a super fun time in an exceptional spot! We will do this specific ride again in the future.

A really fun, unique experience! - So much fun! We went all out with the drinks and cheese packages - excellent additions! The staff was so friendly, the train was fun, the bar in the middle of the forest was a delight! Will come again with more friends!

Great V-Day Experience - Bought tickets for my parents (50yo & 70yo) for Valentine's Day, and they loved it! They said the views were gorgeous, train was cool, and live music was fun. They stayed at the Weller House in Fort Bragg, so easy access to the train station. A real gem in NorCal. They will likely come again.

Great family fun - Such a unique experience, if you're in Ft. Bragg, make this a must-do. Though it's a bar, it's very family friendly with food and s'mores, in addition to drink. Take the kids. Great fun!

Hipster Polar Express Fever Dream - I'm not even sure how to describe this journey, but I'll try. It was a fever dream with a short train trip, an isolated open-air bar under the stars, live music, fires, dogs, & children. Was it fun? Yes. Was it what I expected? I don't know... it was as described. My only complaints are mild ones – I didn't expect a late evening trip to a bar to be so packed with little children. I have nothing against children, but wasn't anticipating such a family-style experience. I would have appreciated a more fully stocked bar (especially considering the price of drinks!). We both decided this might be a fun trip with adult children in warmer weather, because on a cold November night, it was sort of a hipster Polar Express. Dress to be outside!

A fun night out with friends - I love fun, adult activities that I can bring my dog! I wish the train ride had been longer to justify the expense, but it was a fun outing with friends! There were zero children the night we were there. I can see how somebody’s experience could be ruined by unruly kids. The music was provided by a single guy on a guitar (I was hoping for a band,) but he was very good! They don’t allow you to bring your own alcohol, but you can bring your own food. They have great bonfires going, so don’t forget the s’mores!

Awful - says online 21 and Over for the train ride to the bar. There were so many little Kids, screaming, throwing Jenga pieces into the fire and literally screaming for hours. Not relaxing or fun when you pay that much money. We had a party of 14 celebrating and it was a horrible experience. These kids even stole the tip money from the performer.
