Great October trip on the Skunk Train - I would highly recommend taking the Skunk train up to Glen Blair Bar. We went first weekend in Oct. and the weather was perfect. Once at Glen Blair bar we found a chair by the fire pits and quickly struck up a conversation with others. What a beautiful place to put a bar in the woods. I would recommend taking the 6:30pm up to the bar and returning on the 9:00pm train. That gives you about 2 hours to listen to some great music and have a drink or two. We are definitely planning on coming back.

Loads of Fun in Fort Bragg - A wonderful experience and such a beautiful spot. An easy 15 minute train rid to the Bar where there are chairs, music, a bar and fires waiting to greet you. Games to be played, smores, food and drinks. Wish I had known I could bring my own food. Next time. Dress warm and bring a blanket. Don't miss this experience. Tons of fun!!

Music and libations in the redwoods - This was a cool experience I’ll style train ride and the bar is beautifully lit up in the middle of the gorgeous redwoods . With live music. And I love that you can bring your dogs .

Wonderful magical night - This was a wonderful, magical experience. Imagine being deep in the Redwood Forest in a outdoor bar lit up like Paris at night. For pits, great music, drinks and charcuterie for purchase. It was easy better than we expected mostly because of the music. A solo guitar player was amazing. He played everything from Eagles to Smash Mouth. Go with friends and you'll have a blast.

Moonlight Railbikes are Awesome - We did the Moonlight Railbikes to Glen Blair Bar and had a total blast. The railbikes are easy to operate and the trip to the bar in the woods was so scenic and peaceful. We added the charcuterie/cheese option, which made for a perfect light meal. This is a little pricey but such an enjoyable experience!

Glen Blair Bar a hidden gem! - This is a hidden gem located a short distance into the redwoods only accessed by train. The Glen Blair Bar location has a great outdoorsy unique bar atmosphere, and friendly enough to bring the entire family. I am a local and have been on this excursion more than once and will definitely ride again. It’s a great place to go with friends or family. You will find fire pits ( to keep you warm or to toast s’mores and yes, they do sell the s’more kits on site!), corn hole and other outdoor games. There is also live music to put you in that dancing mood. The train does have a small bar where you can buy limited choice drinks (the train and Glen Blair Bar pretty much don’t serve the same brand of drinks). The Glen Blair Bar does have a full bar. You can bring food on the ride, but no alcohol. Another plus is it’s dog-friendly although space may be limited and there is a small fee. Don’t forget to bring layers, Fort Bragg’s weather can be unpredictable sometimes and you could get a little chilly if you choose to ride the open car. The Glen Blair Bar is an open, awesome looking timber covered patio area with patio heaters. So grab your friends and family and give it a try! You don’t find bars like this everyday! Enjoy!🍻😊
