The video is around 10 minutes long. Accompanied by a guide, the tour continues on a double-decker bus around the outside of the dam with three stops for panoramic viewing. In addition to the privileged view of the spillway at the top of the dam, the route also allows contact with nature and beautiful landscapes within the Itaipu Tourist Complex. We ended up moving from one country to another, since the Plant is in Brazil and also in Paraguay. The Itaipu dam is 7,919 meters long and 196 meters high, and is a world leader in the production of clean and renewable energy. The tour ends by passing next to the plant and over the dam, where the visitor can admire the view of Lake Itaipu. Ideal for the whole family.

A good perspective of a modern engineering and diplomatic marvel. - It is a good experience of the Itaipu Dam.
A more detailed tour will be the day tour, but the night tour is worth seeing if you got the time.
The dam is impressive, and staff there are helpful. Everything is in Spanish/ Portuguese, so be mindful of that if you are not proficient in the language. However the dam can be appreciated despite language barriers.

Amazing Engineering Feat & Concert! - Some English spoken by pickup Driver until another Brazilian Couple joined us, thereafter only Portuguese spoken with a line or two of English once in awhile.
The surprise was a musical show with singer, all in Portuguese, but music is the Universal language! Bravo! The lighting up of Itaipu Binational was lovely!
The Double decker bus ride & commentary only in Portuguese from visitor centre to Hydroelectric massive Dam still very good. “Watch for Capricara” signs. AMAZING ENGINEERING FEAT THE WORLD IS SO PROUD OF, ITAIPU BINATIONAL (Brazil & Paraguay)!

Value the best in Brazil - It is very beautiful the tour of the Itaipu plant, the show was wonderful. Super indicative. The driver came on time and brought us to the hotel.

STATIC LIGHTING - The illumination exalts the exuberance of the plant, but could more explore the light effects we have today.
The show is quite short but brings a good repertoire, singer and quality musicians...
I suggest hiring the dinner. Good food, and with many options. Drinks are served all the time, including wines, beers and caipivodka.
