Mont-Saint-Michel - Mont Saint-Michel and visit to the Benedictine Abbey Our guide will bring you up the narrow streets of the mediaeval village towards the top to the Abbey. Usually we manage to join the Guided visit which is led by an expert on Mont Saint-Michel and its history. When it is not possible for some reason we provide the audio-guides for the Abbey’s visit. First settled by man in the year 709 it contains a Medieval village and beautiful Abbey fortress dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. The construction of the Benedictine Abbey started in the 700’s and continued through the 1200s. It remains practically the same since the Middle Ages as it continues to be the goal of pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. Mont Saint Michel remains the most visited site in France with around 4 million tourists per year.

Thank you for the best tour - We recoomend this company
We were struggling to combine both Rouen and Mont Saint Michel in one day we couldnt find a company that could do it
Then we found Tour up in europe
We are very happy with a 2 day toir that we did in the end

VIP experience from start to finish - This was a VIP experience from start to finish. Our guide, Daniel, was knowledgeable and quite expert about both World War II and Mont Saint Michel. Our driver, Alex, was very safe and extremely courteous. All the arrangements (admission, entrance fees, etc.) were seamlessly included. The timing of all events was perfect. We made a few changes to the agenda in advance of the tour, which Daniel was unaware of, but he smoothly pivoted to accommodate the new agenda. We would highly recommend this private tour as “the way to go” to see as much as possible in a compressed amount of time.

A long but wonderful day! - My young adult daughter and I were trying to pack as much into a short trip to Paris as possible. This private tour helped us do that by allowing us to see two of our must-see historic locations in one day. We were picked up in a beautiful new Mercedes sedan. We had both a driver and a well-educated tour guide, Nataly, who came well prepared. Nataly was friendly and talkative. She made the long car drive feel much shorter with her knowledge of history and French life. She brought along her iPad so she could illustrate some of the information she shared. Yes, it's a very long day, but well worth it!

Well worth the money to have a private guide/driver. A brilliant tour. - This was hands down one of the best days of our 7 week holiday of Europe. It was a long day, but worth it and worth every dollar we paid. We were transported by a private driver in a Mercedes van - very comfortable for the long day. Our guide Danila was great - young, knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Was worth the money to go as a small group, we were able to ask questions and chat as we walked. Such a privilege to walk on Omaha Beach and pay our respects to those fallen US servicemen. Mont Saint-Michel was an absolute treat. What a magical place - almost straight out of Harry Potter. If you’re thinking of a day trip from Paris - do this one!!

An amazing experience - Amazing experience! The tour was well-organized, and our guide shared fascinating stories about World War II and Mont Saint-Michel. It felt personal and special. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Paris who wants to explore more of France’s history in comfort.

A wonderful experience - This experience is exciting!
The abbey is amazing, feelings came out in the cemetery because we had time to see a short film where they recount the lives of the soldiers. Simply recommended!

We did Mont Michelle and Calvados - This is a nice activity for a day. We were not interested in the American cemetery so we spent all the day at Mont Saint Michelle and even tried some calvados. Our guide Helen and driver Ibrag couldn't be more welcoming. The organisation was top thank you guys!

Great way to see something exceptional ! - It was really a nice trip. We managed to see one of the most tragic places in the world - Omaha beach and the 7th miracle of the world - Mont Saint-Michel and all that in 1 day. There are no other tours like that, so it is highly recommended !

An amazing experience in Normandy - We had a fantastic experience visiting Normandy! We traveled with our family and opted for a comfortable minivan. We had a wonderful guide who shared fascinating insights about the attractions. Everything was incredibly interesting, and I'm still going through photos from these beautiful places. Highly recommend it!
