Place Massena - Our tour will begin on a sweet note at an amazing historical confectionery, cherished by locals. There, you will sample their signature products!
Opera de Nice - Continue the tour with an olive oil tasting, sampling different types of artisanal olive oil, learning about the production methods, the differences between a young and strong one, and discovering all products made with olives from Nice.
Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate - Enjoy a taste of a lesser-known but delicious snack, highly appreciated by locals. They’re called barbajuans and resemble deep-fried ravioli with a tasty filling of chard and cheese. Unmissable!
Rue Cassini - In this special location, you will try some specialties of Nice: typical Provence wine and a delicious cheese tasting, beloved by locals.
Place Garibaldi - In a truly local restaurant, you’ll taste the traditional Socca, a special savory pancake made with chickpea flour, and the Pissaladière, a tasty onion tart made with a kind of pizza dough. A classic dish that can be enjoyed as street food, for a snack, or paired with a glass of Provence wine for an aperitif.

Fabulous Food and a Fun Evening in Nice - This was a fabulous tour! 5 out of 5. Our tour guide Vanessa was the best. She was knowledgeable, engaging, kind and fun. She was sensitive to our mobility issues as my husband had recently hurt his back. We were grateful that the tour had comfortable spots for us to sit and enjoy the food and ambience. The food was delicious and plentiful. We tried many local specialties, and enjoyed some wine as well. We were very full at the end of the tour - and very happy. We gained an understanding of the beautiful historic area and enjoyed the evening energy of this area. This was a highlight of our time in Nice and will be a memory we hold dear for a long time. We have done many food tours and this one stood out as a favourite. We would highly recommend!

Very good tour and food - Our tour guide did a very good job explaining all the different parts of Nice. We got to eat some local Nice cuisine and learn a lot about the town at the same time. The food was super good and idk if we would have been able to know to go to these places without this tour

A delightful and delicious gastronomic walking tour - This was such a wonderful experience! Isabell, our guide, met us promptly at the meeting location, where we joined three other couples for our progressive dining experience. She led us into the old city, where our first stop was a chocolatier, in business for over 150 years, where our first we sampled candied fruit, chocolate dusted almonds, and selected one of their specialty chocolates. Next we went to shops down to an olivier, where we sampled several infused olive oils and vinegars. The truffle oil and the white balsamic vinegar are exceptional! Isabel then escorted us on a meandering stroll through the old town (to us, I’m sure the route was well planned). We passed many sites we compiled on our own list of “must see” Spots. Isabel provided insight and history that we would not have had if we saw these places on our own. We traversed Garibaldi Square on our way to an organic cheese and wine shop, where we sampled cow, goat, and sheep milk cheeses. As my husband and I don’t drink, the proprietor let us chose from a selection of local non-alcoholic beverages. (One suggestion, let your guide know at the start of the tour if you don’t drink; this will help to let the proprietor know your preference before being seated.) We then walked a few blocks to a restaurant that served typical niciose food. An inscription on the wall stated that you eat with your fingers and season only with pepper. We suggest bringing some hand wipes as, like most restaurants in France, napkins are rationed and, depending on how busy the restaurant is, you may find it difficult to get the server’s attention when you want it. And when we went, the restaurant was extremely busy. But our meal was delicious, well paced, and not rushed. Here we ended the tour. All the places we stopped at were prepared to greet us and we were seated immediately. A testament to our dinner restaurant is that there was a line half a block long to be seated by the time we left - and even more people we coming to join the queue. We were quite pleased with the sunset walking tour organized by Do Eat Well Experience and with our guide, Isabel.

Amazing Food Tour - We had an amazing experience during our tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained about Nice history while taking us to the different food spots. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Nice!

Great for foodies - It was a wonderful 3 hours, Our guide Aliyah was fantastic. We got to learn and taste great chocolates, olives oil an truffles, great cheeses to local Socca at all different venues. Our group was diverse and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Nice tour but it was off... - Nice tour but it was off to a slow start. After the first stop to a chocolate store, the next stop was an hour at an olive oil store where we’d received a lecture on olive oil production. Barely a food tasting, speech was comparable to a lecture, it was uncomfortable standing for an hour and a bit slow and boring, the rest of the tour picked up a bit and was enjoyable.
