This flight gives you the opportunity to discover the scenic wonders of both the Fox and Franz Josef Glacier’s. With departures available from Franz Josef or Fox (separate schedules), you will be amazed by the wonderful blue ice of these two beauties as you soar across the snow covered pinnacles onto the snowfields of the Fox or Franz Josef glacier. These catchment areas, or Neve’s, accumulate years of Winter snow which over time descends into the lower valley’s as the Fox and Franz Josef glaciers.

Markovic on Tour in NZ - Don’t bring bags or selfie sticks; you’ll have to leave these at the office otherwise.
Brilliant value for money. Excellent staff with great sense of humour. Gave us Aussies heaps of lip, deserved it all.
The lady chopper pilot pulled out all the tricks to Fox and Franz Joseph Glaciers. What a wonderful experience.

A Sensational "Bucket List" Experience - This experience should be on everyone's "bucket list" - it was Sensational !!
After a comprehensive safety briefing we hopped inside our immaculately presented helicopter with lots of windows and was warmly welcomed by our very experienced Pilot.
I'd forgotten just how awesome helicopters were.
The flight was very smooth and we saw everything - mountains, villages and glaciers. Landing on the snow was also very special. We took many photographs.
From the ground you actually see very little and it is not until you are in the air that you can appreciate this truly awesome and vast wilderness.
From the booking to landing everything was very well managed.

Excellent experience - We had an excellent flight to both Franz Josef and Fox glaciers. The views were exceptional and the experience one of the highlights of our visit to New Zealand.
The helicopters can carry 6 persons, so if you go for the cheapest one (to Franz Josef only) you can expect it to be full. The twin glacier tour was only booked by us (3 persons), so we had a private tour.

Quite simply WOW!!! - What an AMAZING experience!!
Our day started with disappointment when our original company cancelled our flight due to the cloudy conditions.
We contacted HeliServicesNZ & they were confident the weather would change sufficiently to be able to fly & they were right!!
Big thanks to Aaron for his customer service & great chat!
Words can’t adequately express the spectacular views during the flight & the touchdown on the glacier will live long in our memories!
Ken, our pilot gave us his very knowledgeable commentary throughout our flight & was so kind in photographing us all on the ice…thank you!!
If you get the chance, definitely do this & book with HeliServicesNZ!!!

Twin glacier helicopter trip with spectacular views - On Distant Journeys tour and this was an ‘add on’. So glad we went, it was the most fabulous experience. Our pilot (Geordie) was excellent and after landing on Franz Glacier we then went up and over the ridge to view the Tasman Glacier. The views over the alps were beyond spectacular and the Tasman Glacier was amazing to view from above. A superb 30 minute tour and worth every penny.

WOW - What a professional company.
From the minute we walked in we were welcomed and fully explained to about what we would get in one of their flights.
No bookings that day so booked for 7.30 am the following morning knowing the weather report wasn’t great . They gave us another time option if it was canceled.
Arrived early and weather wasn’t great but we were kept fully informed the whole time as to what was happening. ( Pilots call to fly or not) . Flight went ahead and we did not have to pay until we landed as we were told we would pay for the service we received . This was incase the flight was shortened or we couldn’t land on the glacier.
After full safety procedure we were able to fly and WOW what an amazing view . The pilot (Jamie) was very professional and we landed and stood on the Fox glacier. Not a clear blue day but the incredible moody sky made this a WOW moment and appreciate that we live in such a beautiful country.
Thank you to all at Heliservices for your great professional service and giving us the opportunity to view our beautiful mountains and glaciers from above.

Helicopter ride Franz Josef and Fox Glacier - The view from the helicopter was amazing. First time stepping on Fox glacier. Was surprised in summer, it is not so cold on the glacier. I really enjoyed the experience
