A Wonderful Experience (even with the new no physical contact with animal law) - With the new laws regarding physical contact with the animals, we still decided to go through with the excursion because we felt that it would still be amazing to at least see them. We were thrilled with the excursion! The sloths are out in an open area, hanging out on branches. We could get next to them, without touching them of course, to take pictures right next to them, watch them move around, video them eating, etc. They were adorable and amazing!!!! The monkeys were in large enclosures where we saw them swing around, horseplay with each other, and even had the chance to feed them seeds which made for great pictures! We were able to enter the large bird enclosure where the guide introduced us to them and told us a bit about them. One of the gorgeous red macaws flew down and landed on one of our group member's head!! It was incredible!!
The beach was clean and we had a nice space under a hut with picnic tables and benches near the water. It did rain a couple times in short bursts (10ish minutes) so being in the hut worked out great! The food was okay. There were beach side massages ($35 for 30 mins) and hair braiding offered ($25 for four little braids on a child), too.

Sloth Sanctuary and Beach Break - This was a wonderful excursion. The directions for meeting the guide were excellent and we were treated with kindness and respect. We were first taken to a sloth/ monkey sanctuary where we were given a private tour. The guide was knowledgable and never rushed us. It was great! Next we were taken to a beautiful private island that had changing facilities, nice bathrooms, a restaurant, comfortable chairs, and a gorgeous beach. There is coral in the water, so bring swim shoes. The snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. If you’re a strong swimmer and can go out a little way to where the reef ends and it is like swimming in an aquarium full of fish.
This was so much better than a ship excursion. I absolutely recommend it.

Monkeys and sloths - Very friendly and efficient ROA folks. New govt regulations restrict touching or holding animals. You still can get very close to the sloths. Great pictures. Beach area is nice, good food and drinks

Magical vacation - We used roatan ocean aventure , their service is amazing from the time we was picked up excursions and dropped off we was safe and with great memories from the island , do not be discouraged by the new law with the sloth they make it fun and you can still get closer to them for amazing pictures , the guide was perfect explaining the care of the sloth after we was taken to the beach and let me tell you this is the most amazing beach area the food was amazing do bring your own snorkeling gear to have a full effect of seeing different kind of fish and find large seashells it was the highlight of our trip sloth and the beach looking for seashells (also wear water shoes the bottom is rocky but blue and clear to see the floor ) Kisha from roatan ocean aventure did a great job as a guide and we will used them again for our next trip . First visit to this island and they made it magical . Thank you ROA .

Awesome experience with ROA - We booked the sloth, monkey and beach break and had a wonderful time. Joe, our driver for the day, was incredibly knowledgeable about the island as a native. He shared so much information that allowed us to learn about Roatan and appreciate its culture. The sloth and monkey sanctuary was incredible! Even though you can no longer hold the sloths, you can definitely still get up close and personal with them - it’s absolutely worth the visit! The monkeys are hysterical and so fun to watch. Our guide at the sanctuary, Rob, was fantastic and a wealth of information. Last, we took a short boat ride to the beach which had comfortable lounge chairs, great service and delicious drinks. Our kids snorkeled and kayaked and loved it. We highly recommend ROA and this excursion. 100% safe, reliable, and worth the money!

Sloth sanctuary and private beach at Brady Cay. - Josephine was our escort for the day. She was kind and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time visiting the animals at the sanctuary and then spent time on a private beach, Brady Cay. The beach and water were clean. Josephine picked us up from the beach at our agreed upon time and drove us back to the cruise port.

Beautiful day in Roatan! - We had a great time in Roatan. ROA team was amazing! They are very organized and friendly.
The visit to the animal sanctuary was a unique experience for us, even without the opportunity to hold a sloth (not a deal breaker). We still were able to feed animals and watch them in very close proximity.
The beach was breathtaking, fantastic snorkeling spot!
We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Roatan!

We had a great time with... - We had a great time with ROA! Our driver Joe was great and accommodating. We did the sloths and beach at Brady’s Cay. Food was great and service was impeccable at both locations. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking in Roatan!

The experience was the... - The experience was the best value for our money we could have received. Our guide Kisha was well informed, easy to understand and very personable. The animals were amazing, we were able to feed them, got some great pictures and the handlers at the sanctuary were knowledgeable as well.
The beach was amazing, food was great. We snorkeled and had a unique day! We definitely recommend this tour!
