An AMAZING day to remember! - This excursion is one everyone should do! We had a small group of 10 with personal attention from Captain Teeny and his cousin. Being out on the gorgeous waters of Bora Bora was an unforgettable experience! I couldn’t get enough of seeing the beautiful and varied colors of the blue lagoon. We stopped at 3 places to snorkel- one to see the huge and majestic manta rays, second to swim among stingrays and black tipped sharks, and third to Coral Gardens for beautiful fish and a moray eel. At the first stop, Teeny told me to hang on to the rope on his float and he pulled me around to right where the manta rays were so I could get a great view of them. At one point one of them came up within 6 feet of us! When swimming with the sharks, they would swim through, around and under you coming sometimes within a foot or two! Took a bit to get used to, but then I was able to appreciate their beauty and the experience. Between stops we were entertained by Teeny’s cousin singing and playing the ukulele which really added to the day. Last stop was at a small beach on a Motu for a delicious lunch (marinated chicken, jasmine rice, a raw fish salad which I skipped but hubby said was yummy, coconut bread, fruit, mango juice). We then had a display how to make a died cotton sarong with the opportunity to make and purchase your own. And then they showed us how to open a fresh coconut and we were all able to taste it. Bring $ if you want beer or to make and purchase a died sarong- we had left ours in the boat. All in all, it was a fabulous day that I was always remember!

Manu and Ari are the best guides! You will not be disappointed!! - This was the best excursion. The two guys who took us around, Manu and Ari were great. Very friendly and helpful. Great humor, and awesome music. Ari plays the ukulele, and sings while Manu plays the drums while singing backup. The two of them made the trip very special!!!Loved the places they took us and found a lot of different marine life. More than the description promised. Lunch was great on the private island, and you’re able to walk to the other side and see the ocean outside the reef. An unforgettable adventure!!!

Living in a tropical postcard. - Living in a tropical postcard. Our local guides Rai and Manu were awsome!!!! they sang traditional songs while playing bongo and ukulele while we were between sites. Swimming with black tip sharks and manta rays I will never forget. The coral gardens were full of tropical fish and spectacular coral formations. We then went to Manu's family island for a lip smacking Polynesian feast, followed by a comical coconut husking demonstration. This is a must do in Bora Bora!!!!

The tour stopped at the... - The tour stopped at the same snorkelling spots as several others and so it was rather crowded in the water and we also felt rather rushed, given that as soon as we reached the motu for lunch we had far too much time there with no snorkelling or anything else afterwards. There was a parao-making demo and coconut opening but we'd rather have spent more time in the water. The vibe wasn't really there on the boat compared with other tours we'd done on other islands. There was a lot of confusion with people being added to and removed from the group and the guide seemed somewhat nervous. There was also nothing other than water on the boat (only if you asked) rather than any rum punch or beer, which were both freely flowing on other tours. There was no music or singing to help with the vibe either. On the motu we had a small punch welcome 'mouthfull' but then had to pay extra if we wanted any beer. We did get to see a manta ray, several sharks, sting rays and all the usual coral garden fish so still had a good day. It just felt that it had finished before it began when we reached the motu though.

Wonderful group day swimming and visiting different parts of Bora bora. - I e stayed at the St Regis and had to pay $17 per person to our hotel to take us to the main island and a truck picked us up to take us to the boat. Small boat, great 2 man crew. They took us to see manta ray, swim/wade with the sharks and stingrays. We saw a lot there. Then off to the coral gardens which is like swimming in an aquarium. Next stop was a moto where delicious food and drinks were waiting. Chicken, rice, bread, coconut cake and fish. Very delicious after hours of swimming. Got to take in the view and beach then had a lesson in how to open and coconut, shave it, and get coconut milk. Very nice entertaining and used the audience to give it a try. Wonderful day. Recommend taking suncreen and some water.
