Setting Sail on Griffin Bay

The moment I arrived at Friday Harbor, I felt the familiar pull of the ocean calling me. The salty breeze, the gentle lapping of the waves, and the promise of adventure were all too enticing. I was here to experience the Griffin Bay Kayaking adventure, a trip that promised not only the serene beauty of the San Juan Islands but also the thrill of encountering wildlife in their natural habitat.

Our journey began at Jackson Beach Park, where we met our guides, Jury and Darby. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and their knowledge of the area was immediately apparent. After a brief paddling instruction and safety talk, we were ready to launch into the calm waters of Griffin Bay.
