It is a huge church dedicated to the Holy Trinity, belonging to the complex of the Sanctuary of Fatima, with 8 633 seats and 40,000 m² of area. The project was written by the Greek architect Alexandros Tombazis. It was inaugurated on 12 October 2007 by the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Fatima.
