Hugo was great to work with - From the very beginning, Hugo was great to work with, and it only got better from there! I gave him the list of places I wanted to stop at on the way from Lisbon to Porto. It was more stops than he usually makes, but he made sure they all happened. And at a price that was more affordable than others. He was a great driver and his car was very comfortable. He had a balance of hands on and hands off guiding, which was perfect for us. We had time to learn from him and time to explore on our own. But what makes Hugo extra special is his thoughtfulness. Before we even arrived. Hugo reached out and asked if we were interested in attending a Benfica vs Real Madrid match that would be the night before he was to take us from Lisbon to Porto. He not only found us great seats, but at a better price than I could have found. That night was one of the highlights of our trip and we have Hugo to thank for us.

A perfect day with Hugo! - My husband and I needed to transfer from Porto to Lisbon and wanted to use our travel day to see more towns along the way. I found Hugo through a recommendation on a Facebook group, and he had one of the best prices around also. He arrived promptly to our Airbnb with a brand new (and very comfortable) vehicle. He has a calm demeanour, yet is witty and often with unsuspecting jokes! We planned to visit Aveiro, Nazare, and Obidos. When I asked to also pop by Costa Nova for a quit photo he was able to fit that into the itinerary as well! Each location we were provided ample time to sight see, take photos and wander around. Hugo provided us great educational information on each location as well. Not to mention - he was always providing treats and snacks for us!! (And gifted us a bottle of their famous cherry liquor). I wouldn't hesitate to book Hugo again for a seamless and curated tour. You'll have a blast with him!

U owe it to Travel in Lisbon with only the best guide - It was a 8mth planning for our Portugal trip for 4 retired ladies. Our first stop at Lisbon went well as we were able to plan visiting the tourist spots on foot However when it came to Sintra and our bucket list to Nazaré and traveling onwards to our next stop at Porto , it posed a bit of challenge as we were uncomfortable joining a tour and undecided if we shld diy As fate would hv it, we chanced on Hugo Romano who not only gave us sound advice on covering Sintra, nazare, Óbidos and aveiro before dropping us off at Porto on a two day trip . Again we can’t thank him enough for taking such good care of us and being a careful Driver . Trust me .. I did a lot of enquiries and he was really reasonable Throughout the two days with him, he shared us interesting stories on Portugal, tickled us with funny quips and blew us away with his passion for football . A++. Fantastic driver. Perfect introduction to Portugal. - A++. Hugo was perfect for private driver upon our arrival in Portugal. He was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, humorous, and safe. Best of all he was very responsive and helpful as we planned out our travel and sorted through all of the logistics. Honestly on other vacations we have arranged transfers through our hotels — we wish there was a Hugo everywhere that we went. Thank you Hugo for making our Portugal experience memorable!
