- Calle Montaña de la Arena - Why choose between a volcano walk and stargazing when you can enjoy both? This 3-hour adventure immerses participants in the natural beauty of Fuerteventura before exploring the night sky.
The journey begins with a moderate one-hour trek through ancient volcanic landscapes. Walking sticks are provided for all guests to ensure a comfortable experience. Timed to coincide with the “Golden Hour” and “Blue Hour,” the trek offers optimal lighting to appreciate the rugged, lunar-like scenery. Whether capturing the views with a camera or smartphone, the volcanic vistas are breathtaking.
As night falls, the experience transitions to a serene stargazing session. With professional telescopes and individual binoculars for each participant, high-power lasers are used to “draw” on the sky, identifying constellations and planets. From late May to October, the focus is on the stunning Milky Way, while other months highlight brilliant seasonal stars.
The Best of Both Worlds: An active one-hour hike followed by a relaxed, educational session under the stars.
Cloud Cover Strategy: If the sky isn’t perfectly clear, the adventure continues. The unique atmosphere is embraced, as clouds often create dramatic “windows” that reveal the stars in artistic ways.
