Lake Saiko Bat Cave (西湖コウモリ穴) is the largest of the numerous lava tubes located in the Aokigahara Jukai Forest, southwest of Lake Saiko. It extends over 350 meters, making it the largest lava cave at the base of Mt. Fuji. (Closed during winter months)

• Saiko Lake - Saiko Minshuku Village (西湖民宿村) is a charming area where traditional guesthouses are clustered.
• The Dragon Cave - The Dragon Cave (龍宮洞穴) was a sacred site for Mt. Fuji worshippers during the Edo period. It is recognized as a national natural monument. Legend has it that the water deity was enshrined here, and rituals to pray for rain were conducted during droughts.

• Koyodai Observatory - Sanko-dai Panoramic Viewing Platform (三湖台) offers a view of three lakes simultaneously: Lake Saiko, Lake Shojiko, and Lake Motosuko. It is located along the “Tokai Nature Trail,” providing a perfect spot for a break during a hike with stunning views. There is also a spacious rest area available.
• Narusawa Ice Cave - Narusawa Ice Cave (鳴沢氷穴) is a classic lava cave at the base of Mt. Fuji. Over 1150 years ago, during the 6th year of the Jogan era, Nagaoyama, a flank volcano of Mt. Fuji, erupted. The resulting lava flow created this two-tunnel cave between ancient parasitic volcanoes. It was recognized globally as a geological marvel after being designated a natural monument in 1929. The tree-type lava bed is reputed to have the most spiracles worldwide.
• Koyodai Observatory - The Tōkai Nature Trail (東海自然歩道) is a long-distance path stretching from Meiji no Mori Takao Quasi-National Park in Tokyo to Meiji no Mori Minō Quasi-National Park in Osaka Prefecture, crossing 11 prefectures and covering 1,697 kilometers. It offers a meaningful way to connect with nature, with pathways designed for easy exploration.
• Fugaku Wind Cave - Fugaku Wind Cave (富岳風穴) is one of the largest caves in the Mt. Fuji area. It remains pleasantly cool even in summer, with an average temperature of 3℃. Visitors can see ice pillars formed annually. Historically, it served as a natural refrigerator for storing silkworm eggs up to 100 years ago. The cave is also designated as a Japanese natural monument and is a lateral type cave that is easily accessible for tourists.
