Various flowers bloom along the lakeside promenade, changing with the seasons. Oishi Park is renowned for hosting The Kawaguchiko Herb Festival, a celebrated early summer event.
• Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai, known as the Eight Seas of Oshino, consists of eight ponds located in the Fuji Five Lakes area, on the site of a former sixth lake that has since dried up.
• Arakurayama Sengen Park - Origin: Arakura Sengen Shrine dates back to the 9th century, established as a place of worship for the Shinto goddess Konohanasakuya-hime. This deity is often linked with Mount Fuji and the blooming of cherry blossoms, symbolizing renewal, beauty, and the fleeting nature of life.
• Chureito Pagoda - The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five-story pagoda located on the mountainside, offering views of Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji in the distance. Part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine, it was constructed as a peace memorial in 1963, nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings.
• Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine - Built over a millennium ago to protect against volcanic eruptions, this shrine has become the region’s most significant and serves as the head shrine for over 1300 Sengen and Asama shrines nationwide. It is also a traditional starting point for climbing Mount Fuji.
• Gotemba Premium Outlets - The Gotemba Premium Outlets is an outlet mall located in Gotemba, Shizuoka, Japan, near Mount Fuji. Opened on July 13, 2000, it features over 200 stores. The mall is managed by Mitsubishi Estate Simon Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Mitsubishi Estate and Simon Property Group.
• Mt. Fuji 5th Station - The 5th Station of Mount Fuji serves as the gateway to the mountain and is a favored starting point for climbers. Situated at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level, it is the most frequented station by visitors.
