The area can get crowded, so visiting early in the morning is recommended!

• Aokigahara Forest - 【Optional stop】
  “Jukai” is a forest formed on lava rocks from Mt. Fuji. Enjoy the stunning forest views from the viewpoint!

• Oshino Hakkai - 【Optional stop】
  The water here is a blessing from Mt. Fuji, taking decades to surface. Its beauty is remarkable. Historically, it was used for purification ceremonies before climbing Mt. Fuji.

There are many restaurants and souvenir shops, making it a great spot for a lunch break. (Please bring cash for lunch.)

• Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine - Experience the sacred atmosphere of the shrine. Walk through the beautiful tree-lined “Sando” path and immerse yourself in the history of Mt. Fuji!

• Yamanakako-mura - Lake Yamanakako is the highest of the five lakes. On a sunny day, the view of Mt. Fuji appears larger than from Lake Kawaguchiko.

• Kaneyama Waterfall - Hotel Kaneyama-en, the most historic and elegant hotel in Fujiyoshida city, opens its Japanese-style garden to the public.

The garden is stunning, reflecting the seasons beautifully: cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant green leaves in summer, red leaves in fall, and white snow in winter.
