Mt Fuji tour even when you can’t see mt Fuji - Even on a rainy and cold day. Ryu ensured we got the most of our tour. Explained many details from the perspective of a knowledgeable person with the country and mt Fuji.

Excellent day tour with Ryu. Very knowledgeable tour guide. - We had great weather and Mt Fugi clearly visible, it is a very long day and traffic conditions and large crowds can slow down the day.

An Unforgettable Journey with an Expert Guide - My family recently engaged Xplor Japan on a tour to Mount Fuji, and I cannot recommend it enough, thanks to our outstanding guide, Ryu. There are so many tour providers around, so why should you pick this one? Reasons are:
1) Clear and prompt communication
- Ryu got in touch with us the day before to confirm the plans. We were able to inform in advance that we did not want to go to Hakone to minimize travelling time.
2) Knowledgeable guide
- Ryu was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the history and culture of Japan. Not only did he provide us with rich insights into the way of life, but he also answered all our questions with clarity. This can only come from a familiarity of the country, having stayed in Japan for a long time.
3) Helpful
- Beyond just being informative, Ryu was also exceptionally helpful. He made sure that everyone was comfortable, knew the best spots for photos (and doubled up as our family photographer). He was especially patient with my child, and bought for her fish food for feeding.
The tour was well-paced, and the car was clean and comfortable. We covered Oshino Hakkai, Lake Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park and Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba, with the last one being our favourite. What was helpful also was Ryu highlighted the Muslim friendly food at these locations.
We left the tour with a new respect and understanding for Japan (and some great photos)! If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this one.

Mt Fuji and Hakone tours - Haris is our tour guide and driver for this trip. He pick us up on time at the lobby of our hotel. His car is clean and comfortable. He is very knowledgeable of each site we visited. He did not rush us, he took our pictures and he even pay for our museum ticket cause we did not have cash on hand. Mt Fuji is beautiful. Added bonus it flurries while we are at the pagoda.

Great day with Ryu! - We went on a one day private tour from Tokyo to the Hakone region with Ryu from Xplor Japan. I had a great experience with this company. The communication via email was timely and helpful — they helped me pick an itinerary that would work for my family for the day. Ryu picked us up from our hotel on time. He spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable. Everyone in my family liked him! He took us to the planned locations and oriented us and then let us explore on our own. We had a great day with Ryu and would book Xplor Japan again on any future trips.

Amazing Day! - My family and I spent a day with Ryu on a one day Mount Fuji and Hakone tour from Tokyo. Ryu is a fantastic guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and very communicative before and during the tour to try his best to tailor the day to what we wanted. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable throughout the tour. We all enjoyed spending time with Ryu and would highly recommend him. Mount Fuji was very kind to us and was not the shy Mountain that we expected. An amazing day all round!

Ryu is HIGHLY recommended!!! - Traveling with Ryu was excellent! Ryu has a wealth of knowledge and a very unique perspective of Japan and Japanese culture. It was great riding and talking with Ryu while getting out of the city (Tokyo) and taking in the beautiful Japanese countryside, seeing a whole new side of Japan. Highly recommend and look forward to booking future tours when we come back to Japan!
