Best tour in Fukuoka - Excellent tour with personal guide picking us up at the hotel, taking us to the ferry, personal pick up on the island to transport us up to the park w/guide escorting us all the way, fantastic lunch, then guided back to ferry and driven back to the hotel. Well worth the $$.

An excellent tour while in Fukuoka! - Excellent tour - one of the best I've been on! Guide Luis Matos, a New Yorker who has been living in Fukuoka for 34 years was great. Picked up right at our hotel by Luis and his wife, driven to the ferry that took us to Noko Island, then private pick up that took us up to the Park. Great lunch and tour. Included ferry ride back and then dropped off at our hotel. Travelers were Don Ching, Mindy Ching, & Marge Young - from Hawaii!

A Special Place - Don't Miss Nokonoshima Island - Don't miss the beauty of this island and its people! We were scheduled to go on the tour on a cold and rainy day. We hesitated a bit, but Luis, our guide, was up for it and so were we :). We are SO glad we went. The island visit is a great excursion if you want a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka. Plus, a special add was on the ride to the ferry, Luis gave us many tips and notables about Fukuoka city. As for the island ...the gardens, the people and the food were lovely. We even had chance to meet some of the family who owns the gardens which was special. We were able to hear about the rich heritage of the island, its development and the gardens. The Japanese BBQ Lunch was yummy and a neat experience - believe me, you won't go hungry. The food was plentiful and you'll get a nice array of meats, seafood and vegetables - something for everyone. The sun peaked out after lunch which was special. Luis, thank you for a great and memorable day!

A Wonderful Experience - The journey from our hotel to the ferry terminal was very pleasant. Along the way the guide gave us insightful explanations as we pass the different areas of Fukuoka city. The park itself was big and on high ground with fantastic views of the sea. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. The trees are just amazing. We had a very delicious lunch in a nice restaurant at the park. The guide made the trip very memorable. His natural ability to explain things and his friendly demeanor made the trip unforgettable. We plan to visit the park again sometime in the future, possibly when the cherry blossom and the many flowers already planted are in full bloom or in autumn. We are so glad we joined this tour, and we plan to visit the park again with this tour operator.

Wonderful Day - The tour was great. It was well organized and super comfortable. Nokonoshima is a wonderful island and so much to see and explore. The cosmos was in full bloom, the rabbits so cute and the view over the coast was amazing. It was plenty of time to discover everything I wanted. The food was very tasty as well. It was so relaxing that I didn’t have to worry about bus schedules or finding a good place to eat and also had a lot of freedom to discover the park in my own speed. It became a wonderful experience and the price is absolutely valuable for what you receive from.

Beautiful scenery of Nokonoshima makes we want to go back! - I had an amazing time being guided thru the beautiful hills of Nokonoshima. The food was delicious, the scenery spectacular and the logistics were optimal. I know Fukuoka has a lot to offer but this a faraway like no other. It’s not only beautiful but entertaining, with lots to do for anyone in the family or friends. I could see a big group of friends having a great time under the sun or a small family enjoying and taking in all the different activities that the DIY tour allows. And during all the planing having great support came in very handy. Finally for the price I think I haven’t experienced a better tour yet, I can’t wait to go back and enjoy it once more! Very recommended, beautiful place.

The Perfect Getaway in Fukuoka - The tour is fantastic. The views of Fukuoka city are fabulous and the atmosphere of the place is so relaxing and refreshing. It really feels like another world away from the city even though it’s only a ten minute ferry ride away. The logistics of the tour are excellent. There isn’t a thing that hasn’t been attended to. It’s a perfect getaway if you have a free day in Fukuoka!
