Yellow Bus Funchal Tour 3 in 1 / 48hr deal - Purchased on line from Yellow Bus Tours the 3 in 1 / 48hr tour day before we planned to tour.( A couple & late 70’s) First day did all three & second day just two ( excluded the lookout tour). Everything went to plan . All on time / Drivers & ground staff most helpful & friendly. The audio also no problem on all the buses. All very enjoyable and not too busy. 0930 tour on first day & 1530 tour on second day.

Excellent way to tour... - Excellent way to tour around Funchal. The blue line takes you to the Cabo Girão Skywalk which has breathtaking views.

48hr hop on hop off experience - We did a 48hr ticket. This was a good way to see the area and decide where to spend some time. The commentary was interesting.

Great tour with excellent info along the route. - Very good tour, booked ticket online with no issues. Buses were on time and the drivers were very helpful, especially around connecting buses as we did both routes. The info on the headphones was interesting. Definitely a good way to see Funchal and Camara de Lobos. If you're just looking to get somewhere then public transport is cheaper, but for an informative tour, it's good value.

An adventure on the Yellow bus - It is an interesting tour that combines the city center of Funchal with a panoramic tour to the town of Câmara dos Lobos, where a brief pause is suggested, to resume the tour (other bus) to Cabo Girão. On the promontory (in a break of about 25 minutes) you can enjoy magnificent views.

Visit of wonders - Already from afar, just appeared on the horizon, we understood that we arrived in a beautiful place; it seemed to see a nativity scene landscape, the small houses of a thousand colors perched on the hills, the ocean views that changed at every turn until you admire from the top dizzying cliffs.Finally there was a visit, albeit brief, to the museum of Ronaldo, the great native footballer of this island.A beautiful day.

Yellow Bus Hop on Hop Off 3 in 1 - When visiting cities or large towns we generally start with the hop on hop off bus to get our bearings and find places of interest to seek out and re-visit. When visiting Funchal we purchased a 5 day 3 in 1 pass. Unfortunately on this occasion we found nothing that we felt we would want to see again. Possibly a 48hr 3 in 1 ticket is plenty. To take the Cabo Girao Tour get the hop on hop off bus at stop 1 at 10:30am stay on bus until stop 13 get off approx 11:30 and wait for a single decker bus aprox 11:45 to take you to Cabo Girao. At the top there are public toilets (50cents) a shop and a cafeteria. You can purchase a ticket to go through the barrier to stand at the view point, we didn’t bother. The bus generally waits 30 minutes to take you back to stop 13. If feeling energetic get off at stop 19 and walk along the promenade to stop 22 or just walk all the way back to Funchal.

Dissapointed - We were really disappointed with Yellow Bus Tours in Funchal. The buses didn’t follow the timetable, and we ended up waiting almost an hour even though we arrived at the stop about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. It felt like a waste of time, and honestly, using Uber or Bolt turned out to be much more reliable - and even cheaper for most of our stay.

You need training. Fat, poorly polite and impotent people. - It begins with the rudeness of the poorly polite bearded employee. Talk like we have an obligation to know. Forgot that only works thanks to local tourism
