Along ancient paths, uphill, there will be several stops for photos or explanations, allowing for the appreciation of stunning banana tree or vineyard landscapes (this route appears painted in green or bronze).

The tour continues to Faja das Galinhas viewpoint (700m) offering a breathtaking view, with a 15-minute stop.

• Estreito de Camara de Lobos - On the journey, there will be stops to visit banana and vine plantations.
• Vereda da Fajã das Galinhas - The tour continues upwards towards Fajã das Galinhas, where an incredible view (700 meters high) awaits, difficult to describe.
• Miradouro da Boca dos Namorados - From this vantage point, Curral das Freiras (Nuns Valley) can be seen, a village nestled in one of the many volcanic craters that formed the Island. The village is named so as it is believed to have been chosen by nuns seeking refuge from pirate and corsair attacks.

This unforgettable journey continues through off-road trails towards Jardim da Serra (coffee stop), a land of cherries and chestnut trees, a sensory journey as the forest’s fragrant mimosa and eucalyptus scents and the tranquility of cultivated fields envelop us.

• Jardim da Serra - After off-roading, a stop at a local spot for a drink or restroom break (Coffee Break) is planned, where homemade Madeira wine or Poncha can be tasted (Drinks not included).

For reference, the price of poncha ranges from €2.00 to €2.50, depending on the stop location.
This town is known for its fertile cherry land. It is the only place on the island where this red fruit grows, celebrated annually with a festival attracting thousands of visitors.

• Henriques & Henriques - Post coffee break, after traversing cherry and chestnut plantations, another off-road adventure leads through the vineyards of Henrique & Henriques, located atop the mountain, offering stunning landscapes.
• Cabo Girao - Cabo Girão, Europe’s highest sea cliff, stands at 580 meters above the ocean. This is an ideal spot to admire the island’s diverse natural beauty.
