Great tour with the Jesus guide - We did the tour with the Jesus guide and it was undoubtedly a spectacular experience! Animation and good disposition did not lack! Guide 5 ⭐️

Great tour with a great guide - On our first trip to Madeira we wanted a tour that would show us a bit more than the city of Funchal and we were not disappointed. We were picked up on time from our hotel and spent the next 4+ hours touring around. We made a few stops for views and ata park for refreshments. Guide was very open and friendly with lots of local knowledg of the island. We were then dropped off at a location of our choosing. Great way to get to know a bit more of the island, especially on our first trip.

Great Experience - We had to change the date for jeep tour to 12/12/2025 and Discovery Island Madeira couldn’t have been more helpful. On the day Beto collected us at our hotel on time and despite the awful weather we had a great experience with him. Beto’s English was perfect and as well as being informative about Madeira he was interested in Scotland and we enjoyed chatting with him. We’ve been several jeep trips in the past but we went to places we’ve never been so a lot was new to us. We got soaked, blown along in wind, encountered hail stones and couldn’t see through the clouds but it was still a great trip. Highly recommend Beto at Discovery Island Madeira

All the highlights of Madeira in one incredible morning! - The four of us visited Madeira for the first time for a long weekend and wanted to see as much as we could. The hotel booked us a private half day tour and thankfully we got Carlos the driver. Nothing was too much trouble and he knew exactly the kind of places we wanted to go and some amazing extra stops. The transport was comfortable- even on the funny roads! We saw so many amazing spots and nothing was too much trouble for Carlos who was absolutely amazing. He kindly dropped us at an unscheduled restaurant where the excellent hospitality continued. Thank you, Carlos, for your knowledge, excellent driving and company! BEEP BEEP!!

Super fun, informative and breath taking views. - Excellent Tour that exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was top-notch, easy, and super fun from pick up to drop off. Our guide Miguel was not only extremely informative but also incredibly personable and overall he just made the afternoon a total blast. Strongly recommend.

A Half Day Tour from Funchal over the Mountains - We had a most enjoyable tour up to Pico Areeiro with our guide Michael. His enthusiasm, good nature and great knowledge about the island really made the Trip . The views of the mountains actually above the clouds and the variety of trees and plants to be seen were spectacular.
We were also impressed by the efficiency of the local agents, Island Discovery who quickly answered any question from us.
Just one note , we made just three stops with 15-20 minutes at each stop. An extra 5 or 10 minutes at the first two would have been good .
