Worth seeing - Was a great hike, despite heavy rain in between. Also the guide, Adriana, was super nice and told many interesting things.

Great service and fantastic hike - Really good experience and great value for money! Driver Nuno was very friendly and punctual with lots of knowledge around the local area. Walk was lovely with lots of beautiful waterfalls and views. Trail was flat and really nice to walk along the Levada with some tunnels and viewpoints throughout. Some low headroom points and narrow paths if you’re scared of heights! Fantastic experience

Stunning walk, fantastic company. Highly recommend. - Fantastic experience with a great driver/ guide in a well maintained vehicle. The walk was explained to us at the start and we had a good amount of time to complete it allowing for plenty of stops. The walk itself was stunning and mostly completely flat, with some areas where it is quite narrow. There are also abfew low tunnels to walk through which added to the experience. The path has only recently reopened following landslides but was safe under foot having been repaired. We really enjoyed the walk, the scenery was stunning.

Perfect agency for those who do not want to hike in a group - We did 4 hikes with Do it Madeira. Everything is super organized and the staff are very nice. You get all important information in advance via WhatsApp, you are picked up from the hotel and taken to the starting point of the hike. There the route is explained. You have enough time for photos and breaks and the pick-up takes place at the destination. All tours were beautiful. Since the main trails are busy, I recommend the very early tours.

Great service and stress free - The service was exactly what we wanted. Simple transport to/from to our hike without having to worry about renting a car or find parking! Our driver Pedro was great and provided lots of information about the island for restaurants, where to avoid tourist traps. Highly recommend to use them if the above sounds great to you.

Change of walk due to trail closure - we enjoyed the alternative offered to us (25 Fountains PR6) - The tour operator contacted us the day before our trip explaining the planned Levado route was closed and suggested 2 alternatives. We took the high mountain PR6 (25 Fountains) route and had a great day out. It's an undulating 7 mile walk around 3,800-4,400 feet high . Most of the walk is flat. Henrique was a friendly driver and chatted about Madeira to expand our knowledge as this was our first visit to the island. Reasonable walking shoes are needed - we had great weather so didn't need a jacket but obviously it can be changeable at that height. Small minibus for transport with efficient pick up and drop off points at hotels, you need 50cent coins for toilets at cafe near start of route, and a 3 euro visitor charge (payable online) helps maintain the paths etc. The path was quite busy at times and narrow in places but had no open steep drops alongside so comfortable walking with woodland and also mountain views. Waterfalls at end are a lovely spot for a picnic so its busy as everyone takes time to enjoy the setting.

Very nice walk - Very nice walk, little height differences, still watch out with walking, of course no even ground. Too bad you have to walk up and down and no going around. Is sometimes very narrow especially with oncoming traffic. Nature was very beautiful, expected to encounter a monkey or so at every corner. Go early in the day, especially if you are going by car yourself. The road to it is also narrow and with oncoming traffic I think it is quite manoeuvring. We were brought up with a small van and after the hike from the parking lot walked down about 1.5 km pr Joel. And there was the van waiting for us. There was also a parking lot there. Fine day

Need more than 5.5h to enjoy experience fully - Beautiful views and friendly helpful guide. The biggest minus was that there was not enough time (5.5h) to enjoy views or have a rest stop in the end (had 15min). Ran through the route...
