Amazing service from start to finish - We were transferred to and from the venue by private car, sat at a front row table of our own which was great. The service, drinks, meal was first class and generous. The folk group was excellent and audience members were invited to take part. We would do this again when we come back to Madeira.

Fun night! - Visited with my husband during our holiday. It was a fun night! Something totally different, food was tasty, good way to interact with different people. A fun experience all round!

Restaurant and performance were good, "tour" not so much - My friend and I were apparently the only 2 people on the tour, as we were picked up by an unidentified person in an unmarked car and driven to the restaurant, then collected a few hours later with no way of finding the person in the interim. The driver did not explain anything and couldn't answer any questions we had after the performance, so we had to Google everything later to learn the cultural significance and explanation of things. The meal was good and the performance was fun. As others mentioned, a few of the performers looked like they were pained to be there but the enthusiasm of some of the others more than made up for it. My recommendation would be to just hire a taxi yourself and go to the restaurant (A Parreira) on your own schedule.
