The Food & Wine Walking Tour takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and it starts at 10.00am. Attendance 15 minutes earlier is required. The meeting point is at Infante Roundabout right next to “H&M” store at 09.45am.

Best ever walking/food tour - We book a walking food & drink tour whenever we visit a new place so have been on quite a few around the world - this one topped them all! Knowledgeable guide, 8 stops including three sit-down "meals", wines, drinks, meats, sweets, we had them all. Can't recommend this tour highly enough!!

Exceptional wine & food tour in Funchal - This tour is amazing. My partner and I had a lot of fun, we learned a lot about Madeira and Funchal and saw the city from a different perspective and through the eyes of an expert. Roberto, the guide, was super funny and made always sure to find new creative ways to have our attention and keep us interested and engaged. Also the food and drinks we tried were truly authentic and delicious! I would definitely recommend the experience! My favourite parts: the wine tasting and the exotic fruit tasting. Also it was very funny to share this experience with other visitors from all over the world!

Great, well paced tour - This is a great, well paced tour. We hit on a lot of the main Madeiran foods and wines while learning a lot about the island - including about various fruits and flowers. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent start to our holiday - great experience - Great relaxed host - we missed the start due to an error with start point but met at next point and Matt explained what we had missed so we could go back if we wanted. Generous Madeira wine tasting at Blandy and good explanations as to their history. We covered a great variety of Madeiran specialities, cake and biscuits, chocolate, fruit at the Market, rum punch whilst you bought your shopping! Traditional pork dish (bit tough) marinated tuna with maize and bread - very good and were offered beer and wines or nonalcoholic drinks, as appropriate. Toilet stops were offered, we were able to see historical parts of the city we may never have found and during our weeks holiday we re-visited many of those places - except for roof top bar which we couldn't remember😊

Great morning! - Roberto was very knowledgeable , it was a great trip! The walking was light but you got to see alot, all the food and drinks we tasted were so different. Highly recommended.

Food and wine tasting experience 😋 - Our tour guide Matt met us exactly on time, he was very knowledgeable, a great host, good fun. He made sure we were we well looked after by booking ahead the food and wine tasing establishments. We really enjoyed the steady pace, and would recommend the experience.

Lovely way to sample some of the Maderian delights - Roberto was extremely informative and we got to try some really lovely Madeiran food and drink during the tour. Be warned the various drinks you taste are not sample sizes, but full drinks - not that we're complaining. 😊😊

Very nice experience - It was a pleasant and nice experience to get to know the local market. The two highlights for us were Blandys winelodge and Rua de Poncha. Doesn't really seem the food experiences were completely inner. But overall a pleasant and nice experience with a pleasant guide.

It has a bit of... - It has a bit of everything. You won't just eat and drink. There will also be some cultural history. It is advisable to have a good breakfast beforehand and it is best not to plan any wine tasting afterwards as there is plenty there.
