Check-in 30 minutes before departure at the VipDolphins Kiosk. We are located in the marina in the city center of Funchal. Plan for traffic and accidents. The boat leaves on time and cannot wait if you are late, even if you call. No refunds or free reschedules for late arrivals.

Great ride with pampering program - It was a wonderful ride with a really perfect service! The guide and all crew members were very friendly and read the wishes from your eyes. There were delicious cocktails and great snacks that were handed to you personally. Blankets and pillows were also handed over if necessary. We saw dolphins and a big turtle. This ride is highly recommended to every Madeira holidaymaker!

Excellent whale watching company if your stopping on a cruise or near Funchal harbour. - Thank you for a fabulous tour of the local waters around Madeira. We had flat seas and were rewarded with many sightings of short finned pilot whales and dolphins aided by our very knowledgeable marine biologist crew.
All the crew were very friendly and attentive to all our needs.
We had an organised excursion booked with another company that was cancelled by our cruise ship, and we booked with VIP Dolphin pribately ourselves and we're not disappointed.
Safe operation, new vessels in beautiful condition.
Other company's charter boats were out too, but there were too many people on those. We had this VIP catamaran to ourselves.
Drink and food supplied.
Thank you for making our holiday stop in Madeira memoriable, we learnt a lot about the sealife.

Memorable catamaran experience with great service - Indeed, it was an intimate setting with fewer passengers on a beautiful catamaran with great service. We happened to board at the same time as another company that packed over 50 people on their catamaran and was glad we chose well. You can almost feel as if you have chartered a private one. The crew was attentive and personable, especially our marine biologist from Venezuela, whose name escaped my memory.
-great explanations about the dolphins we were to encounter. Drinks (cocktails, wine, poncha, sodas, etc) and hors d'ouvres flowed. Would not trade it for a cheaper experience. Very much a top-rated experience.

Excellent trip - This catamaran tour was even better than expected. The boat provided plenty of room for the limited number of passengers: all could move about to make the most of whatever was happening. All the crew were helpful, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Drinks and snacks were offered throughout, and as suggested blankets were provided when it got chilly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Clear recommendation - An unforgettable experience, with a very loving crew.We have been able to see dolphins, although it is probably not necessarily the peak season for sightings.On board an all-round feel-good program with great explanations of the wildlife and the Madeira countryside.Very clear recommendation!

Exceptional trip with incredible crew - Exceptional trip. The crew could not do enough for you. They were fun, enthusiastic and superb hosts.
We saw two types of dolphins and some whales, so were very happy as there are never guarantees to see anything.
The boat was extremely clean and there was so much space for all guests to relax.
We highly recommend this company and this boat. A massive thank you to the crew.

Amazing trip, couldn't recommend enough. - We had an amazing time, the crew are phenomenal, their super friendly and so attentive you don't even need to move to get drinks and snacks their also very knowledgeable about the sea life and madeira itself, with lots of facts and recommendations of places to visit and things to do. The boat itself is lovely it has loads of comfy spots to sit so it feels like there's very few people there, and they give you blankets when the wind picks up. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins but it says allot that we still had a great time. Would definitely do again if we come back to madeira.

A treat for sure! Not crowded and super clean boat! Well worth the cost! - Best day out! The boat is spotless, staff are super nice, the drinks and local snacks are awesome! If you get a great weather day, book it!

A great trip! - A very enjoyable few hours on the water. Very professional and friendly crew and skipper, great food and drinks, comfortable boat and not at all crowded. We saw pilot whales, which was a lovely bonus. Highly recommended.
