• Camara De Lobos - Thought to be the initial landing site of Portuguese explorer João Gonçalvez Zarco, this parish’s name is derived from “seals” (Lobos Marinhos). It is renowned for its beautiful fishing bay and as a place where Churchill once visited and created one of his paintings. Visitors can enjoy the view from the “PICO DA TORRE” viewpoint.
