Highly recommend! - Juan Camillo is an AMAZING tour guide. So incredibly knowledgeable. We had the best day hiking the Cocora valley and enjoying the coffee farm and walking around Salento. Super well organised trip and well worth the money. Thank you Juan and Gran Colombia for amazing organisation

Worth the trip. - This was fun and interesting trip to a coffee farm. Understand, the drive to get to the coffee farm is about 2 1/2 hours each way. The tour was well worth it, but it does make for a long day and a lot of time in the car. Our tour guide and driver, Camilo, was a safe driver and interesting to talk to. The coffee farm experience was fun and educational. our coffee farm guide was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. . We stopped for lunch on the way, a typical Colombian lunch. If you dont have a full day to commit, this is probably not the trip for you, otherwise we highly recommend it.

Worth the trip to Colombia!!! - Steven was a tremendous guide for this tour!!! Gave all sort of great info about Bogota and the region as we drove to Fusa. We had an opportunity to taste some wonderful local fruits before our tour which we loved. At Hacienda Coloma, Camillo took over and gave us a great time. The introduction to the tropical plants in the garden at the hacienda was interesting, and the time strolling the property was delightful. We of course then got a crash course in the coffee lifecycle, picked some coffee cherries, and saw the process to turn the seeds into the delicious brown liquid we love. Got to taste the cafe tinto along with the coffee liqueur (that we bought a bottle of) and purchased a shot of espresso. After the education on the production of high quality coffee, we could taste the care that went into the cup we drank from. The lunch afterwards was very good, and the view was a nice backdrop. Come do this tour, like now! My recommendation to travelers, if you’re prone to motion sickness come prepared as the road is in the Andes and very winding.

One of the best tour in... - One of the best tour in Bogotá, not sure if many people know about it, but definitely worth doing it, the tour guide was amazing, probably one the best ones I ever did.

Great coffee trip! - This is a great day trip if you love coffee. You will learn the whole process and what makes a good coffee. Tour guide Sara and our driver were great. Extra note: bring some mosquito repellent for when you are picking the coffee berrys.

I went in knowing nothing... - I went in knowing nothing about coffee production and this was perfect for me. Started right from the plants in the ground with the chickens walking around and finished drinking coffee and rum. Highly recommend.

Great Experience - The tour was wonderful, and I learned a lot about the coffee process from planting the seed to roasting the beans. I enjoyed the lunch at the Colona Hacienda, it was my first time I had Ajiaco. Camilo did a fine job picking me up at the hotel, bringing me to Fusagasuga and back home. We had great conversations along the way.

Bad transportation and bad organization! - I do not recommend this company, unfortunately. I contacted them months ahead to organize the private tour around Salento. My emails were responded with 1-2 weeks delays, even if prompted. Finally I took the tour with our family of 9. Biggest problem was transportation. They have given us super old and weak 10- persons minibus that had bug issues to drive upwards on slippery and muddy roads to both Cocora and coffee farm. Also, whenever we left the car and returned to it the car was abandoned by the driver and our guide could not call the driver due to poor network reception. Guiding itself was ok. Unfortunately the restaurant that was recommended by the guide for lunch did not manage to serve us ANY food for close to 2 hours and we had to leave hungry and angry not to miss coffee experience. Finally, the guide and driver recommended a shorter rural road to go back to Armenia at night, and yes distance-wise it was shorter, but time-wise it took twice the amount of time to get back due to the aforementioned car condition, as we drove 5-10km (-5mil) per hour. To sum up: organization wise it was very poor.
