• Hama-Kanaya Station - The guide will greet visitors at JR Hamakanaya Station in Chiba Prefecture. From there, walk to the base of Mt. Nokogiri and take a ropeway to the summit, where the main attractions await. Enjoy stunning views of the Boso Peninsula and Tokyo Bay.
• Jigoku Nozoki (View of Hell) - At the mountain’s peak, visitors will find an overhang observation rock known as Jigoku Nozoki, meaning Hell Lookout. Standing on Jigoku Nozoki offers a thrilling view of the Boso Peninsula and Tokyo Bay below.
• Kenkonzan Nihon-ji Temple - Nihonji Temple extends along the slopes of Mt. Nokogiri. Visitors can explore the stairs to see the 30-meter-tall Hyaku-Syaku Kannon carved into a stone cliff, along with small statues of Buddhist disciples lining the paths. The main highlight is a 31-meter-tall stone statue of Buddha located midway up Mt. Nokogiri.
• Michi-no-Eki Hota Shogakko - Enjoy a serene and peaceful hike, taking in temples, a tea house, a small pond, and the surrounding natural beauty, as you make your way down to the mountain’s base.
