A great substitute tour - The morning of the tour, Luis emailed us to inform us that because of recent rains, the pink sea would not live up to its advertised charm, so rather than take us on a disappointing adventure, he offered to refund our money or to take us on a private tour of Cartagena. We opted for the private tour and he took us to all the usual sites, but also to Getsemani, a wonderful artist enclave that had spectacular murals on all the buildings and neat art cooperative shops throughout.
He tailored the day to our wants and needs, and it was perfect.
We appreciated Luis’s willingness to refund the scheduled tour rather than take us on a long, disappointing journey. Although we did not get to see the Pink Sea, we felt we were given a good alternative.

Airport transport, Pink Sea, and MORE - My husband and I started with the airport transfer but then it was so easy to work with Luis over WhatsApp that we opted for the pink sea as well. As non Spanish speakers he was attentive, on time snd willing to provide any help snd suggestions we might need or come up with. He really went above and beyond any standard taxi service or standard tour service with his willingness to help and explain and make sure we felt safe the whole time.
Going to Colombia for the first time there are a lot of “rumors” about service abs expectations, but Luis really seems to understand and empathize for first time travelers and was really very helpful and patient. We travel all over and live in the US and have not had better service anywhere with someone who really wants you to enjoy your time hassle free!

Simply Amazing! Worth the time! - Wow, what can I say it is the Pink Sea. Our tour guide Luis was amazing. He took the time and showed and explained everything to us. You must take a moment and visit this place.

Thank you Luis! - Luis was great! He was extremely professional. We learned so much about Colombian culture from him during the private tour. We also forgot our bathing suit in his trunk and Luis was kind enough to deliver them later.

Highly recommend - Luis was wonderful! So nice and accommodating, he even took us by the volcano and Cartagena sign as a bonus. We went to the pink sea in February and the color was incredible. Definitely recommend!

Pink photo Ops - The Pink Sea tour was a good experience. Carlos was our driver and he was Great, he didn't speak much English but he made good efforts at communicating with us. Our ride was pleasant and safe. This tour was beautiful and amazing to see the pink hue of the sea as well as briefly feel the sea water on our skin. However the guide speaks no English and the only way to translate was via Google with spotty wifi but she did her best. We had a private car but no wifi as listed. FYI: We received our bottle water, you pay to use the bathroom and to enter the pink sea on top of tour price. The time to travel is included with the 4 hrs total. You really only spend 45 mins or so at the pink sea as there is not much to do However the sea speaks for itself and I would still recommend this tour.

Beautiful to see with my own eyes! - This is the main reason I wanted to visit Cartageña. This made my whole trip! Be prepared for the heat because it felt real different but so worth it!

Cancelled for a good reason - The tour operator canceled the trip due to bad weather. I appreciate that it was cancelled instead of us having a miserable time in pouring rain. I am waiting for my refund! The tour operator assured me that it would be done soon. 🤞

Never Showed Up--Never Called--AWFUL GROUP - I cannot say enough BAD THINGS about this group. We booked and paid for it well in advance. This tour was supposed to be our 1st activity on our 1st full day. No one showed up or bothered to call. A nice English-speaking tour driver outside our hotel heard us discussing the situation with the doorman. He asked if he could call the company directly which he did. The person that answered the phone and the driver himself seemed to know nothing about it--nor did the apologize in any way. STAY CLEAR OF THIS GROUP AND THIS TOUR. Since this was our initial Cartagena experience, it could easily have ruined our entire trip. Thank heavens for the English-speaking tour driver who helped us out. Because of his kindness to us we hired him for the rest of our unbooked time and dinners. He truly made our week! So good can come out of bad--but no thanks to this awful tour group!!!!!!!!!!
