Our mission is to help you sight as many distinctive wildlife species as possible while exploring the park’s most FAMED sites and uncovering lesser-known spots seldom frequented by visitors. During our expedition, we’ll take in the sight of Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls (308’), variety of wildlife, grand waterfalls, infrequently observed geysers, and a couple of historic hotels. To enhance your viewing experience, we provide premium binoculars and spotting scopes for all participants to spot animals or geysers situated at a distance from the road! The tour is designed to be informative yet engaging and enjoyable for your family/group. Your excursion will expose you to the hidden treasures of Yellowstone that lie in wait around each bend of Yellowstone National Park.
A picturesque picnic-style lunch by the side of Yellowstone Lake will serve as our break for lunch!

Awesome day in Yellowstone. - We had an awesome and amazing day in Yellowstone yesterday. Our guide Andrea was very knowledgeable about the park and just about everything we asked him. If you want to learn about the park as you’re going through and seeing the animals and sites he’s like a walk-in encyclopedia. You’re missing out on a lot, if you don’t have a guide that can tell you about the things that you’re looking at. It’s well worth the money. He took us to everything that we wanted to go see and more. We had a wonderful lunch provided by them next to Yellowstone lake. Having a guide allowed us to be able to relax and see the sites and not have to worry about driving. He took us to places that we would’ve never seen if it hadn’t been for him.
Do yourself a favor and book yourself a tour. You will not regret it.

Family Fun in Yellowstone - Our family enjoyed an unforgettable private tour of Yellowstone National Park on June 1, guided by the knowledgeable and friendly Tim. Throughout the day, we explored many of the park’s iconic highlights, including breathtaking geothermal features, the powerful Upper Falls, the serene expanse of Yellowstone Lake, and the legendary Old Faithful geyser — which we reached just in time to witness its awe-inspiring eruption.
Wildlife sightings were a major highlight, with an incredible range of animals including deer, elk, bison, marmots, a grizzly bear, wolves, and even a curious coyote crossing our path. The natural beauty of the park left us in awe at every turn.
One of the most special moments was enjoying a peaceful picnic overlooking Yellowstone Lake — a perfect setting to pause, connect, and soak in the wonder of our surroundings.
Overall, it was a fabulous day filled with family memories, stunning views, and unforgettable encounters with nature. Yellowstone truly delivered, and Tim made the experience seamless, informative, and fun.

Fabulous One Day Trip - Outstanding trip! Our guide Randolph was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. He knew where to look for the animals. Couldn't ask for a better guide. We saw bears and their cubs big horn sheep, wolf and her pup, bison and great sightseeing. Would highly recommend.

Best way ever to maximize the Yellowstone experience. - We had planned on visiting Yellowstone on our own but made a last minute to book a private tour. So glad we did! Our tour guide, Riley added so much to our visit with his knowledge of the natural wildlife, park terrains, familiarity with roads, etc that our experience was so very much fuller than if we had done this on our own.
No stumbling through our day long visit. Treated like very special guests of the park with Riley’s selection of routes to take, places to stop, inside info on daily wandering of wildlife.

What a great experience! - What a great experience! Derek with Yellowstone Adventure Tours went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 6 adults and 4 children (including car seats, occasional crying babies, and ENDLESS questions from a 4yr old!). It’s obvious he loves what he does, and he loves sharing his adventurous spirit with others! I was impressed with his extensive knowledge of facts and history - a rolling commentary the whole two days we were together.
He chose hikes perfect for our little group and knew how to avoid the crowds so we could see waterfalls and thermo-activity at a non-hurried leisure. We also saw grizzly bears, black bears, elk, big horn sheep, SO many bison (and many newborn calves). And Derek filmed and forwarded to us videos of all the wildlife we saw!
The lunches from a local deli were delicious, and Derek always found a lovely, non-crowded place to picnic.
Our children and grandchildren will have great memories of Yellowstone National Park for years to come. Thank you, Derek!

Grandparents with a 16 year old Granddaughter - We had a wonderful 2 days with our guide Jessica. She was very well informed, we learned so much from her. The combination of scenery, wildlife and volcanic spots was superb. The hikes were kept to our minimal abilities, but still got us out of the car and some exercise. Lunches were very good. I would highly recommend this tour, worth every penny and more!

Family of Four - Private Tour - Our guide Josh was amazing, and was so friendly and knowledgeable. He clearly loves Yellowstone.
Our family of four (two adults in their late 40s, a 20-year old and 16-year old) did the private tour and saw so many animals - including some of the rarer ones to spot like wolves and bears. Josh even shared photos and videos taken through his high-powered lens after the trip.
We also made arrangements to swap out Old Faithful (as we had already seen it) for Grand Prismatic, and Josh dropped us off and picked us up at that feature as parking was very limited.
Overall, it was worth every penny and made the early morning start totally worth it!

A Memory That Will Last Forever... - Did the 2 Day private tour, our guide was Jessi. She added so much more depth to what we were experiencing and would have experienced on our own. Her base of knowledge about the Park and how she was able to engage us in all of the detail made her special. The Park, needless to say is beyond words, until you have someone such as Jessi you can leave so much on the table. She was prompt in our pickup, spent 9 hours each day with us through the South Loop one day and the North Loop the next. If you are hungry or need beverage you are well covered and the lunch is fresh and very good. Never felt rushed. I am in the people business and Jessi has the talent to be very engaging in a very constructive and friendly way. Would highly recommend Yellowstone Adventure Tours. The whole staff is most knowledgeable and experienced, our experience was with Jessi and would absolutely use her again.

Made our Yellowstone trip the best trip we’ve ever had! - Unbelievable time with Andrea! He was an absolute pro and answered our countless questions about the park and the wildlife. We saw so many grizzlies, wolves, rare birds, and a truly unreal amount of other amazing wildlife. Couldn’t recommend the tour and Andrea specifically enough. Will be recommending to any of our family or friends who are headed up to Yellowstone.

Best part of our trip, everything they promised and more! - Well worth the money!
Our guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable, took us to the best places to view wildlife. Saw Grizzlies, wolves, bison, trumpeter swans...
All kinds of thermo features, waterfalls. We saw the famous Old Faithful Inn, went inside and appreciated its beauty, saw Old Faithful erupt. Went on a few little hikes, one totally off beaten path with no one else around. I would spend money on this and stay outside the park rather than spend it on lodging in the park and have no one to guide. Lunch was fantastic, coffee great, lots of waters and sodas. This was the highlight of our trip. So thankful for our great guide Josh Gibson.
Also lots of great pictures, Josh took pics through his scope and we took pictures as well and great binoculars were provided.
