We begin our journey at the world-renowned Meetiyagoda moonstone mine and gem manufacturing site. Here, you’ll have the chance to witness the extraction of raw moonstones from the earth and appreciate the hard work of the miners firsthand. They will guide you through the intricate process unfolding on site. If you wish, you can even purchase these moonstones right there.

Afterward, we venture into the bustling tourist area of Hikkaduwa, where we will visit the Hikkaduwa tsunami museum and pay our respects at the tsunami memorial monument. From there, we proceed to the main city of Galle to explore the Dutch fort, the Galle Museum, an old Dutch church, and a British church. The city of Galle, known for its exquisite lace, brims with valuable artifacts, antiques such as jewelry, ceramics, and Dutch period furniture, and intricate brass work.
