Ilario you are the top! - We had a super good time, skipper Ilario was fantastic and super funny, he told us and explained a bit what we saw from the boat. The boat ride included drinking and eating (excellent food besides!) I sincerely recommend it! P.s. from the Bolzano group 🫶🏻

- The vendor of the boat was very pleasant and did his best at communicating with us in English. Sadly the weather wasn’t very kind to us, and some very large clouds came down, but the trip was enjoyable and informative

Beautiful - It was a wonderful experience and the captain was so nice to take the two of us even though we were the only ones who booked. We had a private excursion along the coast of Gallipoli and enjoyed typical snacks of Salento and then around Isola di Sant’Andrea. It was during the golden hour and so beautiful. Grazie Mille!

Relaxing aperitif on the boat - Wonderful experience for those who love to live the sea made even more interesting by the talented Captain Michele who cooks typical local delicacies based on seafood

Not a good boat excursion - This was a very disappointing experience. There were 5 passengers, my wife and I, a young Italian couple and a single young woman, non-Italian. The boat captain's English was almost non-existent, and after a pro-forma "where are you from" and "where are you staying", he ignored us and spent the rest of the trip in jolly conversation with the Italian couple. He offered minimal information about the sights we were seeing. For the two swimming stops, he had masks but only two snorkels, which he gave to the Italian couple, leaving the rest of us to try looking underwater while holding our breaths. The second swimming stop was just offshore of the southern part of Gallipoli which features an unbroken string of dull apartment blocks. This part of the shoreline of Salento is noted for caves carved out of the soft rock, and we could see several. If the captain had anything to say about them, he may have shared it with the Italians, but he didn't say anything to us. This stop had snacks and rosé wine, which were OK, but soon the captain dived in and swam over to another boat anchored nearby, and spent the rest of the stop chatting with the captain of that boat. He also played music at such a loud volume that it made any attempt at conversation among the passengers almost impossible.
