Loved Galveston History - My daughter, her friend and I had a great time on the Great Galveston Ghost tour. We loved learning the history of Galveston- it made us look at the city in a new light and appreciate everything it is now. Dave was a great guide- engaging and funny, but told great stories! 10/10 recommend!

Friendly Ghost Tour - Not too long and reasonable for kids. Educational and a good variety of stories. Nothing crazy that you couldn’t bring your kids along.

Very informative - Tyler was awesome! He knew a lot about Galveston history. No bed and breakfast for us! And we’ll be sure to stay away from the Walmart! 😬

Dry fun and informative tour - Fun experience! I went at the 4 PM one and wonder if it would be better after dark but also feel like the experience would be totally different taking photos so it just depends. Tour guide was full of stories and shared some photos of ghosts that others had taken on different tours. It was very interesting to learn about the history of Galveston.. I had no idea!

Chilling ghost stories and fine old houses! - This tour was so popular that we had to be broken into two groups! Of my five Galveston ghost tours this one was the most informative and the most frightful. Here we took to the residential streets, passing all these grand, old homes while hearing the chilling stories. Our guide even had a personal story of being pushed down a staircase at one residence. “I hate this house,” he said while showing genuine fear of the place. He also showed a photo revealing the spine-chilling tale of how a member of his tour suddenly got scratches on her back from just being at one of the haunted sights. If ghosts aren’t your thing, the tour was worth the time just to see all the cool, old houses on the tour!

Blast from the Past🎃 - I enjoyed every minute and because off season there were only Four on the tour. The history was fascinating and the ghost stories were really engaging. Tyler was an excellent tour guide. At 75 and having some challenges walking, I was thrilled it was at a pace I could easily do.

Needs some improving. - We were hoping for a spooky ghost tour to entertain the grandkids, but this was more of a history tour with just a few ghost stories sprinkled in. That would’ve been fine, but we’ve already done the history tours in Galveston, so most of it felt like a repeat for us. Unfortunately, the grandkids (Teens) were bored out of their minds, and we were left trying to keep them engaged throughout the long walk. Our guide, who referred to himself as “Dave in Galveston,” who is a BOI wanna be was just okay. He came across as arrogant at times and made jokes at guests’ expense, brushing them off with a “just kidding” that didn’t really land well. Because we all knew he was not. I thought maybe it was just me being sensitive until I asked my wife what she thought—and she shocked me by saying, “He was a D!#K.” Coming from her, that really said something, and all I could do was laugh. The tour also dragged on longer than necessary. Visuals were shown on a tiny phone screen, which was frustrating—an iPad would have made a big difference. Perhaps it is not in the budget of the guide or touring company. And the repeated tipping spiel at the beginning and end of the tour felt excessive. Most adults understand how tipping works; one reminder would have sufficed. Maybe it was just an off night, but next time we’ll try a different company when family comes to visit.

Disappointing - Guide was knowledgeable but., didn't do anything to build a mood. Supposed 90 minute tour lasted 60.
