These old buildings really can talk! - I'm a local with out-of-town friends who visited. Galveston has such a rich history and unique visuals. Walking the Strand, I often say to myself ... "if only these buildings could talk, imagine the stories they would tell." Jay, our tour guide, became the voice of those buildings and brought history to life as he shared fun stories with us. He gave me, and more importantly our guests, something special to remember about the character and life of this amazing, old and quintessentially "American" town. The walking pace was determined by the least mobile person in our group, which was good, but you will need to be able to walk a mile or two between parking, meet up and tour. Recommend!

Worth the money, you’ll leave with a great knowledge of Galveston. - Loved the old downtown historical tour. Jay was well informed and answered all questions, even about things that weren’t on the tour. It’s nice to have a tour by someone who has lived most their life in the area and iknows their history
