Fun little museum - It's a fun little museum that teaches you about the history, an importance, of the pirates and privateers of the gulf coast

The Privateer experience - Love this educational experience. The QR codes were great to listen to and very informative. Enjoyed the interactive bird as well as the cannons made this experience a little more life like. Maybe some more lights on the educational posters to be read in better lighting.

The best bachelorette party activity! - I had the BEST time with our tour guide Braden! I have been wanting to go to the Pirates! museum for years but hadn't had a chance. I had my bachelorette party yesterday and I told my bridesmaids this was something that I really wanted to do and they were all down to go with me! Braden even gave us a fun scavenger hunt and we won some treasure after. I loved learning about the local pirate, and general pirate history while exploring the museum. You can walk around at your leisure and there are a lot of surprises throughout. I won't spoil it, but there is some amazing stuff that they've collected from some major motion pictures. I was flabbergasted that they even had what they do. This is great for kids but all of us are in our 20's, 30's and above and we had a great time too. Just have fun and pretend to be a pirate!

Neat little way to kill 30 minutes to an hour - Very informative. If your expectation is an actual museum you will be dis appointed, but if you are looking for a fun time for the kids you will like it. I will check out the haunted house next door next time. Only thing I would suggest is to have a restroom for customers.

Good time - We did the pirate room with two adults and two 13 year olds in about 20 minutes. It was a great one to do with younger kids, not being too intricate. Braden and Rich were so accommodating and informative. They made food recommendations as well as other fun things to do. We also made the mistake of thinking the haunted house was an actual ghost tour, so don’t do that lol. They were super nice about us doing that on accident and definitely were fun to chat with.

Pirates! Legends of the Gulf - It was…ok. Probably not for kids. Lots of reading and scanning QR codes. The 2 rooms were neat. It took us about 15 minutes bc the kids were over it.

Posters to read on the wall and QR codes. - There is alot of time spent reading the posters on the wall to gain knowledge of the exhibit or looking at your phone . The staff was friendly and it was clean.

You get what you pay for - You get what you pay for. The tour is now done with QR codes, but my phone wouldn’t read them. So you’re just walking through reading the fo e print on the walls. Which is fine, that’s what a museum is, but some of the things on display aren’t working or have visibly been worn down. It’s also pretty tiny.
