- Cliffs of Moher - Begin your day in Galway with a local driver-guide, traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way through the Burren’s distinctive landscape to reach the Cliffs of Moher. Pass through delightful villages such as Clarenbridge, Kinvara, and Ballyvaughan, where you can admire medieval ruins, castles, stone walls, and picturesque harbors. Continue along the Clare coastline via Black Head and Fanore Strand, enjoying breathtaking views of the Atlantic.
At approximately 11am, board a ferry at Doolin heading to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. Enjoy a 30-minute crossing—keep an eye out for dolphins—then explore the island’s ancient castles, churches, and beaches, with options to rent a bike or a pony and trap.
Return by ferry, sailing beneath the majestic Cliffs of Moher for a unique vantage point. Then, visit the Cliffs’ summit and the eco-friendly visitor center for at least an hour. Afterward, make your way back to Galway via Lisdoonvarna and the Burren, arriving around 6:30pm. Entry fees are included.

As you drive down the Clare coast, feel the might of the Atlantic Ocean as it clashes against the shoreline. Hop on the ferry at Doolin to reach Inisheer, the smallest and nearest of the Gaelic-speaking Aran Islands. Be on the lookout for native bottlenose dolphins that are sometimes seen around the ferry. On Inisheer, delve into the rich past of the island’s castles, churches, narrow byways, stone barriers, and untouched sandy beaches.
The ferry back offers a guided pictorial sail under the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher. On arriving back at Doolin, head to the summit of the Cliffs of Moher for a leisurely walk along the Cliffs edge. Wrapping up the tour at the Cliffs, you return to Galway.
