Beautiful ferry ride, Aodhan was great - I had a wonderful journey on the ferry from Inis Mor to Galway City. Seeing the cliffs of Moher from the water is a 10/10 experience. Aodhan, one of the crew, was especially helpful and kind to me- give that man a promotion!

Do it again with pleasure ☺️ - Ferry very comfortable, very friendly staff, including a member of the French speaking crew which is appreciable (especially for small tips 😉). The staff was very considerate during the return crossing with a swell and a very intense roll.....

Be prepared before you take the trip! - This is a great excursion! The boat ride over was rough. Approximately 40% of the passengers were vomiting so plan ahead. I purchased anti nausea medication (Kwell from Boots pharmacy in Galway) and was fine. If you have any tendency to get sea or motion sickness TAKE MEDICATION, PLAN AHEAD! I was shocked how many people were surprised by the rough seas. Anyway, once on the island we did a horse and carriage tour which was amazing!

Stunning. - As a solo traveler with a mobility issue I would highly recommend this trip (you must be able to do some walking so inform prior to booking. I could not have been better looked after by both Aiden, Owen and the rest of the crew. Thank you for a great day that I will never forget and your genuine support. Regards Richard

Very well organised, safe... - Very well organised, safe is very friendly and facilities and choice of drinks on board was fantastic. Parking in Galway and getting to the pier was very easy - instructions are very well explained on the ticket. Highly recommend this tour.

If you get seasick, take some anti-sickness pills! - If you get seasick, take an anti-sickness medicine! It was a wonderful cruise to the Aran Islands. Both my daughter and I brought our own so it was OK, but more than half were drunk. Even when we were drunk, we were all feeling good and active when we got to the islands!

Barf Cruise 2025! - I'm surprised there is no warning on the main Aran Island Ferries webpage about the seasickness. Probably 3/4 of the 250 ppl on our boat were either vomiting or close to it on the way there. Picture the scene from Stand By Me with the pie eating contest! The dramamine we took didn't help. My son had a scopolamine patch and he was still very nauseas but didn't get sick. Two of our family members who never get motion sickness were vomiting. When we got to the island, we had to spend some of our limited time recovering before we could get on our bikes. Note that there is no bike path. You are biking on a narrow, two-way road with cars zipping by very fast, even on the green route. On the boat back, we were going with the waves so it was a lot smoother.

Wonderful time - Overall the trip was very nice. The waters were rough and a lot of the passengers were getting sick but the crew was very attentive and helpful. The island was nice and would recommend renting an electric bike.

beautiful island, nice trip, long boat ride - The ride is 1.5 hours each way. on the way back they take you close up to the Cliffs of Moher which are beautiful and very cool. The island is great, especially if you want to rent an electric bike and bike along the trails to the other end of the island. Trail was kind of busy but not too bad. lovely views of the mainland and other islands but in the end, we kind of wished we had not done the trip since it took a whole day and we are not particularly big on hiking/biking. For the right person this is a great trip but the ride over and back was a bit long.
