Fantastic Excursion with amazing scenery! - We had a fantastic day on this excursion. Highly recommend. Inis Orr was s beautiful. We hiked up to a castle ruin and then to the other side of the island and back down for a pint at a pub. Next we took the ferry around the Cliffs of Moher. Our driver gave us a tip to be on the right side of boat for best views. After we boarded buses and went to view the cliffs from the top. We were lucky with a gorgeous sunny day. On the way back, because we were on time all day, our driver stopped for 10 mins at the Baby Cliffs of Moher. So beautiful. I had never known there was such a thing, The scenery was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! 11/10😍

Great way to spend a day in Iteland - We shared this experience with another couple and had an absolutely fantastic time. I'm usually a bit skeptical of tours outside the U.S., but I would highly recommend this one. Our driver, Tommy, was excellent—he picked us up right in front of our hotel, which was super convenient, and kept us entertained during the 2.5+ hour drive with engaging, relevant commentary and fun personal anecdotes that made the time fly.
The boat ride to the Aran Islands was smooth and enjoyable. The small island we visited was fascinating, and I highly recommend taking the local tour there—only about €15 per person. You'll also have time to relax at the charming little hotel on the island. We had some snacks and drinks—the onion rings were especially delicious!
After the island visit, we took a short, scenic 20-minute boat ride back to the original departure point to drop off other passengers. Then we cruised along to the Cliffs of Moher, which were absolutely breathtaking. There was a bit of narration as we approached, adding interesting context. I suggest grabbing a spot on the upper deck for the best views!
Following the cruise, we had a late lunch around 3:00 PM at a quaint local pub in Doolin. The food was fantastic—the seafood chowder, stew, and chips were all outstanding. Finally, we visited the top of the Cliffs of Moher and had about an hour to explore and soak in the amazing views from above.
Although I initially thought this would be a long, tiring day, it was well-paced, smooth, and filled with memorable moments. If you can, ask for Tommy as your driver—you won’t regret it!

Aran Islands and Cliffs Day Trip - Our tour guide/driver Dave was not only wonderfully knowledgeable about Inis Oírr (Inisheer) and the Cliffs of Moher but also all the small villages he took us through. We were extremely lucky to have a 70° F clear sunny day and calm seas. Dave had plenty of jokes, a great playlist, and carrots for the donkeys and cows we saw close to the road. I wasn’t too concerned with eating lunch but there is a 45 minute stop at small local pub in Doolin and then you could get food again at the Cliffs Visitor Center. A couple of notes, if you get motion sick easily try to sit near the front of the bus (personally got sick on the way from Galway), the roads are very narrow and windy on the way, and ask to have the air on in the bus, it was getting very warm inside with the temperature of the day and having 50+ people on the bus. Overall would recommend to anyone.

Long tour completely worth it - Tommy was our guide and he was fantastic. He told great stories about the history along our drives to and from while handling the bus on tiny roads like a pro. The tour to the islands and back was also fantastic. We are active people and chose EBikes, if you are going to be biking I recommend getting the electric assist one, there are a lot of hills on the island and it made a world of difference for us to see as much as we could in the few short hours on the island. Seeing the Cliffs from the ground and then on top was the topping of a wonderful day of sightseeing and learning. We were able to see everything we wanted to (Aran Island, Cliffs of Moher from land and sea) in one day leaving other days on our vacation open for exploring Galway, highly recommend.

An excellent day! - This is a full day, action packed tour. We traveled to Inisheer and rented e-bikes on the island, which I recommend as we had lots of fun. Definitely get an e-bike unless you are in tip top cycling shape! Lots of hills. There is a BEAUTIFUL beach on the island, great for photos and some locals were swimming. We then cruised past the cliffs from the boat, with some commentary which was nice. After that we had lunch at a great pub in Doolin with excellent food. Then we went to the top of the cliffs for the opposite view. Lots of spectacular sights. Our tour guide was Tommy and he must have paid great attention in school because his narratives were very informative and he did a wonderful job. Thanks Tommy!

Incredible sights but subpar tour company - Let me start by saying the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher cruise were fantastic and definitely worth 5 stars - but those are contracted through the Doolin Ferry Company. Our actual tour was through Galway Tour Company and was a huge disappointment. Our guide did not have a working microphone or speakers on the bus. He did not realize that there had been a radiator leak that had shorted out the system until we were all boarding the bus. Concerning that Galway Tour Company doesn't check the condition of their buses before heading out on a tour! The company did not provide our guide/driver with a back up system to use. His solution was to tell us that he couldn't talk loudly for the 2 hour drive, so we should just enjoy the views. When we arrived in Doolin and asked our guide what he would have shared with us about the region if he had had a microphone, he refused to tell us. Upon arrival on Inisheer (the Aran Island the Doolin Ferry Company brought us to), our guide gathered all of us together. We thought we'd be getting a brief overview of the islands and their history. Nope! Our guide just wanted to sell us horse and buggy tours or e-bike rentals and to hand us a map of the island. We wound up meeting a local high schooler who regaled us with the history of the island, its current population, and what life is like on the island for the locals who reside there. The Doolin Ferry Company did an incredible cruise by the Cliffs of Moher and provided amazing commentary and opportunities to ask questions of any of their staff. But then it was back to the Galway Tour Company and no information or engagement from our guide. On the drive back to Galway, it became apparent that he was sharing stories with the front 2 rows of passengers, so perhaps they got what they had paid for. The rest of us, however, felt like we could have just as easily have hired a private driver for the day who could have shared the history and tales of the region and given the Doolin Ferry Company our business directly.
