Tsomgo Lake - Begin your day with a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), located just 32 kms from Gangtok city. It holds sacred significance for the local community.

Pemayangtse Monastery - The Pemayangtse Monastery, located near Pelling in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, is a renowned Buddhist monastery. Established by Lama Lhatsun Chempo in 1647, it is one of Sikkim’s oldest and most prestigious monasteries. Initially a small Lhakhang, it was expanded during the reign of the third Chogyal Chakdor Namgyal and Khenchen Rolpai Dorjee in 1705 and consecrated by the third Lhatsun Chenpo Dzogchen Jigme Pawo in 1710 C.E. The monastery adheres to the Nyingma Order of Tibetan Buddhism and oversees all other monasteries of that Order in Sikkim. Monks are typically selected from the Bhutias of Sikkim. The monastery was built for “pure monks” (ta-tshang), meaning celibate monks of pure lineage without any physical abnormalities, a tradition that continues today. Only monks from Pemayangtse Monastery are entitled to the title “ta-tshang.”
Rabdentse Ruins - Rabdentse Palace Ruins - Rabdentse served as the second capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The capital was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army, leaving only the ruins of the palace and chortens. These ruins are located near Pelling in the West Sikkim district of present-day Sikkim, close to the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim’s oldest monasteries.
PELLING TO DARJEELING (72 kms, approximately 3 hours)
Darjeeling - After breakfast, you will be transferred from Pelling to Darjeeling. Enjoy the enchanting beauty of the Himalayas and the picturesque views of the valleys along the way. Capture the breathtaking snow-covered peaks and lush green hills in photographs. Upon reaching Darjeeling, check into your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure. Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center - The Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre in Darjeeling, India, is a rehabilitation center for Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region. Established on 2 October 1959, it focuses on the production of Tibetan handicrafts. (Closed on Sundays)
