The Lower Loop tour sets off from Gardiner, Montana, heading south. Depending on external conditions, guide recommendations, and client preferences, the tour can proceed in either direction around the loop. The Lower Loop tour sets off from Gardiner, Montana, heading south. Depending on external conditions, guide recommendations, and client preferences, the tour can proceed in either direction around the loop. With extensive experience in navigating popular attractions, the tour is designed to seamlessly incorporate them into the itinerary. The journey includes visits to remarkable thermal features and many of the most renowned thermal basins. After a morning exploring the thermal features between the Midway and Lower Basins, the tour proceeds to Yellowstone’s most iconic landmark, Old Faithful. Following this, the route crosses Craig Pass to reach Yellowstone Lake, with a stop at the West Thumb Thermal Basin, known for its unique structure and history. The tour continues past Fishing Bridge, through Hayden Valley, and on to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, where the Upper and Lower Falls and Artist’s Point are visited. The tour concludes with a return to Gardiner, Montana, with the possibility of additional destinations.
