Symphony of Stones - The Garni Gorge, located 23.3 kilometers (14.5 mi) east of Yerevan, Armenia, lies just below the village of Garni. The gorge is legally protected and designated as a natural monument. Overlooking the gorge, the first-century AD Temple of Garni, built by King Tiridates I as a temple to the sun god Mihr (Mithra), can be seen.

Noravank Monastery - Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge formed by the Amaghu River, near Yeghegnadzor in Armenia. The gorge is renowned for its towering, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly opposite the monastery. The monastery is famed for its two-storey Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) Church, which offers access to the second floor via a narrow stone staircase protruding from the building’s facade.

Monastery Sevanavank - Sevanavank is a monastic complex on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan in Gegharkunik Province, Armenia, near the town of Sevan. Initially built on the southern shore of a small island, the monastery became part of a peninsula after the artificial draining of Lake Sevan, which began during Joseph Stalin’s era, causing the water level to drop about 20 meters. A guesthouse of the Writers Union of Armenia was constructed on the southern shore of this new peninsula, while the eastern shore houses the Armenian president’s summer residence. The monastery’s active seminary relocated to newly built structures on the northern shore of the peninsula.
Haghartsin Monastery - Haghartsin is a medieval monastery near Dilijan in Tavush Province, Armenia, constructed between the 10th and 13th centuries. It comprises three churches: St. Gregory’s (the oldest), St. Stephen’s, and St. Astvatsatsin (St. Mary’s, the largest), along with a gavit and a refectory.
Dilijan - Dilijan (Armenian: Դիլիջան) is a spa town and urban municipal community in the Dilijan Municipality of Tavush Province, Armenia. As one of Armenia’s most significant resorts, it is located within Dilijan National Park. The forested town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and showcases traditional Armenian architecture.

Saghmosavank Monastery - Saghmosavank is a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex in the village of Saghmosavan, Aragatsotn Province, Armenia. Like the Hovhannavank monastery, located five kilometers south, Saghmosavank is perched atop the steep gorge carved by the Kasagh River. Their silhouettes dominate the nearby villages and rise sharply against the backdrop of mountains crowned by Mount Aragats.
Kasagh River - The Kasagh River flows north to south in the west-central region of modern Armenia. It originates near Mount Aragats in Aragatsotn Province, flows south into Armavir Province, and joins the Metsamor, a tributary of the Aras.
Armenian Alphabet Monument - Situated on the eastern slope of Mount Aragats in Artashavan, the Armenian Alphabet Monument celebrates the enduring legacy of the Armenian language and its cultural significance. Designed by architect J. Torosyan in 2005, the monument marks the 1600th anniversary of the Armenian alphabet, created by Mesrop Mashtots in 405 AD to make the Bible accessible and strengthen Armenian national identity.
Amberd Fortress - Amberd is a 10th-century fortress located 2,300 meters (7,500 ft) above sea level on the slopes of Mount Aragats, at the confluence of the Arkashen and Amberd rivers in Aragatsotn Province, Armenia. The name translates to “fortress in the clouds” in Armenian. It is also mistakenly attributed to Vahramashen Church, the 11th-century Armenian church near the castle. The village of Byurakan is 6.4 kilometers (4.0 mi) from Amberd.
Kari Lake - Lake Kari (Armenian: Քարի լիճ, romanized: K’ari lich, lit. ‘Rock/Mountain Lake’) is a freshwater lake in Armenia on the slopes of Mount Aragats. It is situated 3,185 m above sea level, with a perimeter of 1,150 m. Its depth reaches up to 8 m, with a volume of 375,000 m2 and a surface area of 0.12 km2. The lake formed in a u-shaped valley enclosed by moraines. Its water is clear and cold, primarily sourced from precipitation, and it remains frozen for 8–9 months annually.

Cascade Complex - The Cascade is a building complex in Yerevan, Armenia, featuring terraced gardens connected by extensive staircases and housing the Cafesjian Museum of Art. Victory Park and Statue of Mother Armenia - The park’s construction began in the late 1930s as the “Arabkir city park,” part of the development of the Nor Arabkir neighborhood in northern Yerevan, the capital of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic. After the Great Patriotic War, it was renamed “Victory Park” to commemorate the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany on the Eastern Front of World War II.
Echmiadzin Monastery - Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in the city known as both Etchmiadzin and Vagharshapat, Armenia. It is often considered the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia and is frequently regarded as the oldest cathedral in the world.
Zvartnots Temple - Zvartnots Cathedral, sometimes referred to in scholarly works as Zuart’nots’ or Zuart’noc’, meaning ‘place of resurrection/lifefulness/joyfulness,’ is a medieval Armenian cathedral near Vagharshapat (Ejmiatsin), Armenia. Built in the seventh century and now in ruins, Zvartnots was renowned for its circular exterior structure, unique in medieval Armenian architecture, and a set of interior piers supporting a multi-floor structure crowned with a dome.
