The Temple of Artemis - The Temple of Artemis, or Artemision, was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its cult dedicated to Artemis made Ephesus a renowned pilgrimage site. The temple featured 127 Ionic columns, each 19 meters high, and is considered the earliest bank of the ancient world.
