A Truly Magical Mystery Tour! - Today I went on a tour of the Magic Circle HQ in Stephenson Way, London NW1. It was totally amazing. The building houses, amongst other things, an auditorium and a small but select museum full of intriguing historical artefacts and the personal possessions of some of our most famous magicians. The event was hosted by Derek, who shared with us his immense knowledge concerning the history of magic. Bron told us the story of the first lady to become a member of the Magic Circle, and we also enjoyed a short show of magic, which was unbelievable. This was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.

More secrets than the Masons! - From the moment you step inside the experience is brilliant. Our guide a magician himself was full of knowledge and clearly enjoyed the opportunity to showcase some of the many many different areas of this unique building. Learning the history of the circle, its building the museum and library brings this art form to life. Ive always been a fan of magic, so taking my sceptical wife was a challenge and magic in itself, however she was completely taken with our guide and the whole experience. The tour culminated in some magic performed by a lady magician that has just won performer of the year in the circle an honour being the first female magician. Anyway go get tickets if your curious about magic, its performers and history.

A magical experience - We visited the Magic Circle HQ at the end of February to do the guided tour. It was interesting and informative, and took us all around the building, including back stage and the museum. The tour lasted around an hour and a half and ended with a little magic performed in the club room. Our guides were welcoming and made the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

An outstanding experience. - This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Our Guide Peter was very informative and delivered his commentary clearly and included good humour. He was very interesting to listen to and obviously very passionate about his involvement with the Magic Circle. The building is fascinating, I've never seen anything like it. The exhibits were intriguing and the history spell-binding (ha ha)! After the tour, Ross performed three magic tricks for us which were absolutely mind-blowing. I'm really pleased that we had the privilege of this experience and have already recommended it to friends and family. We don't live in London and don't get to London very often, but we will be back! Many, many thanks, Glenda and Eddy xx
