My day with my Granddaughter. - I took my 4 year old Granddaughter to experience the Alpacas and she absolutely loved them, beautiful creatures indeed. Even though the walk was very boggy we were warned in advance and dressed accordingly, Rachel our guide was great, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the hour or so passed in a flash. A lovely little spot, well maintained and well managed. We will be back, maybe when it's drier and hopefully see the wonderful Alpaca we walked with, Harley.

Highly recommended. - Today we walked the donkeys across the common at Wetley moor…. what a fantastic day the staff were amazing. They had great knowledge of the donkeys. We ended up feeding them and grooming them. I would highly recommend this. It’s absolutely fantastic 10 out of 10.

Even better 2nd time around! - Fabulous, more so this time as didn't quite know what to expect the first time I went. A bonus was having Harley again who is so easy to walk. Very wet and muddy but who cares!!

Enjoyable experience even in the rain - Very enjoyable and relaxing despite the weather Wellies were recommended and supplied by the venue. The host,Rachel was excellent and gave an introductory talk on safety before we were introduced to our Alpacas and throughout the experience supplied more information as required. I would recommend also purchasing the food to give to the Alpacas after the walk as their reward.

What A Great Experience - My wife and I booked this trek with another couple during a long weekend stay in the area. The whole experience was fantastic. The leader and helpers were very helpfull and shared loads of information about the alpacas with us. Walking with an alpaca was tremendous. Thank you Wetley Moor Common Alpaca Trekking Experience for a wonderful morning.

Where else can you cuddle an alpaca? - We had an absolutely amazing time at Wetley Moor Alpacas, we did the meet and greet experience. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming, I am sorry as I didn’t catch the lady’s name who did our meet and greet, mainly as I was too excited to see the alpaca 🦙! But she was absolutely brilliant and her level of knowledge about the boys was second to none. My son was slightly nervous when we first went into the paddock but to see his confidence grow when he was with alpaca Harley was truly heartwarming. We can’t wait to return for more cuddles!

Great experience whatever your age - Had a truly great experience walking with Bertie the alpaca across the moorland. Learned a lot about alpacas from Rachel our very knowledgeable guide. Well worth a visit. I am an elderly person, but was offered a solo walk as, although fit, was concerned I would struggle to keep up with a group. A perfect experience
